    You made me cry immediately on the first weapon. Lead your shots, wait for red, and aim the reticle just above the head. One burst will a grunt. Four bursts will kill a blue elite. The plasma carbine saved me in legendary.

      It also has a bit of tracking it's honestly pretty good. Better than halo 4,5 storm rifle. Would love covenant carbine to come back tho

      Also, you can aim for skimmer jet-wings and it's basically a headshot if you hit

    The Yellow Elites do drop Scatterbound Heatwaves, there’s just a visual bug that labels them as normal Heatwaves in the bottom-right of the HUD. This bug also appears in Super Fiesta and Husky Raid and has been around for a while.

    You definitely did the pulse carbine dirty! It's a staple for me and one of my favorite secondary weapons. It strips most shields quickly, allowing you to switch to your kinetic weapon for that finishing headshot without wasting a clip or two on say, a red elite. It locks onto skimmers allowing you to dispose of them quickly if you have a hard time hitting their annoying little faces, and they are major threats as you know. And yes, it's perfect for when your primary is out of bullets, it's reliable for getting steady damage and knocking back jackals from their shields as well.

      Fair enough. This probably means you would rank both the regular and Rapid Fire Pulse carbine way higher. I suppose if your fighting tons of elites, then this weapon would be a no brainer to pick up as a side weapon

    It's a travesty what they did to the plasma pistol when they extended the charge timer and nerfed tracking. It used to be way better, but in S3 I think they nerfed it and now its unusable. It can one shot a grunt with a charged shot though, just like in CE. Its useless and you shouldn't try it, but it's neat. Also, the perk of the Rushdown hammer is mainly an increased jump height.
    Probably also should be noted that the legendary shock weapons are even better on some maps like the Zanzibar remake and Deadlock because they have shock ammo refills, but not all maps have those (hopefully hardlight ones will be added). Now you can actually hold onto them for much longer, even if you need to disengage to restock.

      I glad someone else agrees with the Plasma Pistol. I was so sure i would get roasted for saying that it sucks.
      Also yeah, once new and possibly more workshop maps start being added to firefight will definitely start changing the rankings of weapons.

      Pro tip on the Plasma Pistol: Overcharge is awful, however if you spam the regular shot it will absolutely SHRED shields and you can follow it up with a Sidekick headshot for maximum effect.

    Needler deletes Hunters, it might actuakly be the easiest way to kill them. But still only worth picking up when hunters are active, for sure.
    You're 100% using the Hydra wrong. Lock on reduces damage, when dumb fired it can wipe crowds of low tier enemies, and can kill elites and brutes in a few direct hits. Think of it like a baby Rocket Launcher but with more ammo.

    The bandit evo also removes recoil, making it slightly better than the regular bandit. Great video!

    People also dont beleive me when I say that popping the backpack of a grunt causes a *very* high damaging yet small radius explosion that can sometimes insta-kill red elites on heroic difficulty

    A note on the 'yellow Elite', Ordo 'Mal.
    He _does_ drop a Scatterbound Heatwave. Its name is, and has been since launch, bugged. Any white Heatwaves are marked as just 'Heatwave' on the HUD.
    Also, while En'Geddon doesnt drop a Volatile Skewer, it is available in the mid hill on Vallaheim.

    One thing you missed out that you can actually destroy phantoms with a gravity hammer as well
    it takes like 3-4 hits and they wouldn't even have an chance to drop enemies.
    Not sure if you knew about this, but here ya go.

    the pulse carbine is very good for echarum specifically, lets you crack the shields he keeps regenerating with only a couple bursts. otherwise I never pick it up.

    You can find the Volitile Skewer on Valhalla remake. It spawns on the weapon rack in the middle of the map.

      I've also seen it drop from certain enemies, but only on Livefire. And I might have just been confused about teammates dropping it.

    honestly, I'd swap the plasma pistol and unbound plasma pistol and put the pulse carbine way higher. The pulse carbine deals lots of shield damage and headshot damage is alright. It's a great support weapon and can kill enemies in a pinch. The ravager rebound should honestly take the pulse carbine's place in the list. Also, NEVER use the lock-on with the hydra. Enemies move very slowly and predictably and the extra damage is always worth missing 1-2 shots.
    Edit: The riven mangler does a good bit more damage and is great for killing armoured brutes or shielded elites with the bleed through and additional projectiles. Also, spikes are honestly a B tier grenade as their effective AoE is just too difficult to work with. It needs to go back to how it was before it was nerfed.
    Edit2: The ranked BR just has the same melee damage that all normal weapons had before melee damage was nerfed. Also, the scatterbound heatwave does drop, but the weapon itself in all modes uses the base version's name

    I always use the commando and the mangler since ammo is never an issue with those ones because they are common weapons the enemies use

    Bloodblade gives *some* agility buffs, but not as much as the Duelist sword.
    Riven Mangler fires a very tight burst of three Mangler shots, with each doing less damage than a regular Mangler shot. I have no idea if they add up to more damage or not. It also has a slower fire rate and (I think) an even greater ammo capacity.
    Very glad to find someone else who properly appreciates the Calcine Disruptor.

    Would love to see a guide for firefight! One that shows what maps have what sort of ammo crates, where decent weapons spawn, etc

      grab commando and repulsor, 2nd weapon is whatever you feel like with dynamo and plasma grenades

      @@armstronggaming8566 that’s a good strat for sure, but I mean on a per map basis. Like on Exile, you can find a BR here, here, and there, etc. ammo is here and there. Then similar info for all maps

    Rushdown hammer increases the range, but lowers AOE, its basically if a greatsword were a super powered hammer

    My useage of the Riven Mangler is with headshots. It holds a lot of reloads and its easy to refill due to the overabundance of kinetic refills. The Riven also is good when there's a lot of brutes, because for some reason I feel like its really good for some reason, idk. Plus, no one ever picks it up.

    The Breacher BR doesn't deal more damage up close. It instead has a very high rate of fire compared to a normal BR, but it's aim assist falls off at much shorter ranges.

    Scrap cannon is A tier for me since Escharum drops it once enough damage is dealt to his flesh hp. It has unlimited ammo maybe only bc I play normal firefight but you move slow so if teammates aren't giving him a good show he jump on you balls deep

    What I mean is if you shoot a shock weapon at a weapon on the ground the the weapon on the ground can shock enemies nearby but I don't know if the shock is more effective at dealing damage when there are more enemies and/or more weapons close together nearby so I'll check later.

    Plasma turrrets are S tier for the fact that they kill with body shots faster than *most* weapons. AND are easy to replenish on outdoor maps. Like, I've had missions where I didn't use any weapons other than the turrets and I avg bout 150+ kills on those missions. Could they be better? Absolutely, but when playing with randos who scramble for every power weapon, turrets are a really powerful option that are easily replenished multiple times per wave.

    I'd say the overall reliability of the AR puts it in at least standard S tear. I'd say it's the best for mowing enemies and it's also got a surprisingly decent range. I'd personally put it in place of the commando and switch the BR and DMR for 1st and 3rd for the top 3 but that's just me.

    Apparently three hits from a disruptor or one hit from a shock rifle on an unshielded enemy in pve deals a dot (damage over time) or it shocks them and chains to nearby enemies and weapons on the ground? I heard it used to deal a dot in pvp but from some ppl on reddit it got nerfed and/or it's inconsistent or rng. No dot to shielded enemies in pve apparently.

    It doesnt seem like rarity of a weapon/how often ammo can be refilled is a factor here. Which is odd because thats why stuff like needler is still decent so long as you dont take it against elites. And why "power" weapons like the sniper is probably the worst things in the game.
    The boss weapons are usually more powerful sure but they are ALOT more rare. Unlikely to have their ammo refilled any time soon if its not a power weapon. The only boss weapons IMO that justify their rarity is rushdown hammer and sometimes tracker spnker but who wouldnt want a rocket launcher during firefight.

    Rocket Launcher and gravity hammer is an S+ tier, it allows you to kill big cluster of enemys with one single shot.

    Disagree on commando vs bandit. Commando is harder to be accurate with, but it is accurate. The bandit just feels inaccurate at mid-longer ranges.

    I think Shock Rifle and Disruptor are very effective when you shoot at any firearms lying on the ground. I think the more guns laying around and the more enemies near them the better? I'll shoot at unshielded enemies bunched together and get a lot of guns covering enough area and test it in firefight.

    While I don't agree with all of your rankings in this list, I understand the placements of the weapons.
    Personally I'd place the Bandit below the Assault Rifle because I have such a hard time with that weapon, and I'd place the Ravenger in B tier because it's just fun to use.
    It would have been nice to see the equipments put on here too. If they were on here, I'd put the Repulsor in S because you can one shot every enemy depending on what location you are in, and it's SUPER USEFUL especially on Behemoth.

      Totally understandable both weapons. Bandit definitely has its lesser moments and the Ravager is pretty fun i gotta agree.
      I did consider adding Equipment, but most Equipment is more Utility based that, in my opinion, should be used in tangent with the weapons. Definitely deserving its own tier list someday

    The campaign version br has a much higher fire rate, along with higher damage, it's not the same as the normal variant lol same with the sniper, it has insanely higher fire rate

    For me the Stiker Sidekick is the best weapon in Halo Infinite, I practice a lot with this thing and with the BR or the Commando and the Striker Sidekick is without any debate the best weapon in Halo Inifinite.

    Gungoose is A tier bc of grenades but you lose your speed easily if you slow down enough and skimmers are the devil both for this and the worst car on the ring

      They are both the same. Both in S+ tier. Battle Rifle is better overall, but the commando is way easier to get ammo for.

    All guns in halo infinite suck ass apart from the AR, the commando, and some brute arcing explosive weapons. Don’t even get me started on what they did to my babies the needler and the dmr 🤧
