I can guarantee that, when it is eventually Dave Raymond's time to go, by the time he reaches the Pearly Gates, there will be good ol' Tommy Lasorda standing there with a Louisville Slugger and a wide grin on his face saying "Ready for the next inning, big boy?!"

I would have to say that the Phillie Phanatic looks more like a cross between an Aardvark and a Duck of course I could be wrong. But I love the guy who does the job. He's really something else. For someone who can make children happy and has the ability to make people laugh and enjoy themselves the way he does is absolutely fantastic. PHILLIE PHANATIC KEEP THEM LAUGHING DUDE. Because laughter is and always will be the best medicine in the world. Also it takes a great deal of time to make people laugh. With the antics that you do for the children and the people who admire what you are doing. You are in one word, "MAGNIFICENT."

I've always thought that Tommy Lasorda and the Philly Phanatic had a love-hate relationship I'm sure Tommy was having fun with the Phanatic the day he got his uniform back then bashed the Phanatic with it
Yeah for sure they had a friendly love/hate dynamic lol Lasorda is from the Philadelphia area so he always loved coming to Philly... The Phanatic is without a doubt the best, most entertaining mascot in all of sports but there were times when Tommy wasn't in the mood for his shenanigans lol which made it even funnier
Philadelphia fans are known by their mild manners and courteous ways. The phanatic is of course the embodiment of that therefore the most entertaining mascot in baseball. 😂😂
I hate baseball, at least watching it.. it's so incredibly boring, it's only topped by golf and women's sports in that regard. BUT I love the Phanatic and Orbit. They really are the only reason to watch, especially when they are doing messed up stuff.
