I have the design drawn up, just need to get the parts to make a ladder crane. Cheap version will just use a gear reduction boat winch, more expensive will use a small powered winch. Roping up compressors are always fun. Good video brother!

Try rope climbing ascenders and use them upside down to rope compressor up. And the second one hold the weight locked and as you pull unlatches

Yeah with the contactor welded shut it ran that compressor into the ground

Doubt it. I blame the compressor manufacturers. Since the pandemic all QC has gone straight out the window. Everyone got laid off during quarantine then after they could ramp production back up they hired anybody with a pulse just to churn out numbers. Compressor was likely compromised before it even got to the unit manufacturer.
