Very informative video. What type of sling did you put on your Lupo?

When you shouldered the rifle, the stupid scarf got in the way.

Why did you choose the 270 over the aught 6? I’m gonna get a lupo myself for elk but was leaning towards the 6. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks for the vid.

I am a firm believer in the 06. You can find 06 rounds at a gas station or reload them on the tail gate. Loans 110 grain to 225 grain. Load up or load down depending on the needed round. No such option with 270. However, that is my only issue with the 270

I just got my first rifle and I chose the benelli 308 lupo. Yeah it was pricey and without sightings but it’s a benelli. I didn’t want to continue purchasing more than what I would need. It shoots amazing due to the fact that I have never shot a rifle before and my first group was literally a quarter apart. Don’t hesitate. It’s amazing rifle.

@@wcmacster hell yeah bro. You bought a nice rifle. I don't have one but have been very tempted. Put some nice glass on it and your first rilfe may be your last. The 270 has proven itself to be a good round for about 70 years. Ammo is available and more affordable than the 6's. Flat shooter. Shooter safe

@@wcmacster the 308 maybe the most popular round available. You can never go wrong with 308. 270 is great but not as much options as 308 caliber bullets

Considering the Lupo in 30-06, but concerned that 22-inch barrel is two inches too short for max velocity.
I have a model 70 in .270 Winchester (24-inch barrel), and that round will always be just a 130-150-grain gem...as it was designed.
      Nothing sweeter in that range.
And for me, .308 Winchester is a combat round for 300-400 yard thumping (it's design). The stuff of AR-10's.
I may just do a .270 Winchester again in the Lupo, although I'd really like one more traditional caliber like the '06.
      Thoughts or opinions?
