They used your Signal & Systems book for the undergraduate signals course at U of H in the very early 80's. Later U of H used your Discrete Signals book when I was in graduate school in the early 90's. You must have written those books when you were very very young. Understand I am 66 years old and a retired PE. You are far more gifted than I ever imagined. By the way, I still struggle with digital filters.
I can't see any of this in the book !! except for Butterworth filter in chapter 9, I have the second edition and I looked into the reading section in OCW website for this course the headlines for this lecture are not exist in my book.
