vom hellen Morgen bis zum stillen Abend.
Der Herr nimmt hinweg meines Erden Leid,
im Himmelsglücke freudenvoll und labend.
Meines Hoffnungssehnen naht,
nimmt den Schmerz von Seel' und Glieder,
durch all seinen Gnadenrat,
blickt der Herr mit Freuden nieder.

from bright morning to quiet evening.
The Lord takes away the suffering of my earth,
joyful and revitalizing in the happiness of heaven.
My longing for hope draws near,
takes the pain from soul and limbs,
through all his counsel of grace,
the Lord looks down with joy.

Many thanks, Nils. Usually I sing a capella with my choir. Only once a year I have such a concert. I don't have a fixed instrumental ensemble, so every year a lot of phone calls and only one rehearsal together ...
