Well, I just removed about 3 dozen of the darn things from my computer case with a small hammer and a nail driver. Took me five minutes.

I'm trying to remove the rivets off a stupid 760T corsair case, the designer of the case was so drunk when he designed the case

I'm going to be removing a tag for repainting purposes however the rivets are through double sheeted metal. So how can I remove the rivets with out peaces getting stuck rattling around between the double sheeted metal?

The problem that I am experiencing with removing a few hundred or so rivets is that after a few uses of my drill bit my drill bit starts getting too hot and often times it leads to the bit breaking.
Is there another method than drilling?

Do you use drilling grease/lube/oil ? Helps to mitigate this. However, where there is friction, heat will always be an issue. So you could also try to have some cold water ready.
