Ms. Jackson i bet u know why;)
These 2 Atliens are colder then a polar bears toenail
Great story. No one getting beat up, dicked over or scandals. Just some great artists that grew up and did their thing.
Facts!
Great story, with a great ending, they stay cool, they go their own ways, happy ending!
Andre was always seen as eccentric...but so is every artistical genius.....Him & Big Boi were doing avant garde stuff that nobody else was doing back then, which made Outkast to this day one of the most unique musical duo of all times.
He told you, he started talking to evil spirits that's a no no. You are massing with evilbangels who were thrown out of heaven.
Well said
Outkast was way ahead of their time. Haters doing what haters do.
So Right❤
Yup, just think about how they would be received today, especially Andre obviously. Unfortunately he was about a quarter century too early
How can you not love André 3000 such a humble down to earth individual and Big Boy a Cool Guy. Love Them..
Andre and Big Boi together are the bomb; creatively, Andre is just part of some rare air.
Outkast is my favorite hip-hop group/hip-hop duo of all time. Their musical greatness and excellence is unparalleled and umatched. I'm still praying and hoping for a new OutKast album but only time will tell.
Also Andre 3000, is one of my favorite music artists of all time. And he is my GOAT 🐐 Rapper of All Time.
Thanks for watching!

I knew both. Good dudes that were really part of the "underground" Atlanta scene. Atlanta has changed so much, but one thing remains, the city loves OutKast!
Omg imagine Outkast reunion gig in Atlanta ✨🧚🌋
@@angelitepriestess1562 Won't happen. Hurts me as much as it hurts you, just letting you know not to get your hopes up. It's not cause of bad blood or anything, it's just, mentally, andre is 3000 miles away from a reunion in his mind. Once he gets tired of soul searching, he might do a reunion, but that may be a half dozen instrumental albums from now.
Yeah, just dreaming i know 🥹 I actually like New Blue Sun 💜
So true
I love that 3k says he dont feel like he can rap no more but legit won a grammy for rap song of the year with scientists and engineers. Unbelievable talent!
Outkast deserve a heck of a lot more recognition than they got... Bonafide Legends of hip hop.
It's wild to hear how Andre has social anxiety when he always seemed like the most outgoing of the two and way more outgoing than most people.
The brothers thought outside the box had a unique sound that no one else was doing and they made it work❤
Don't forget big boi... Whole tripplet flow of Atlanta is his invention migos, gucci, future.. Everyone is mimicking him..
fax!
Big Facts, put some respect on his name ❤
Lord Infamous of 3-6 Mafia originated that.
Not his invention
Umm, three six, bone and twista was on that before bruh.
PEACE, and having a peaceful mind and peace within you, is truly a wealth that no amount of money could ever provide. I’m happy Andre’s where he’s at in his life right now. It’s a beautiful thing. The industry is wicked and some people are just too good at heart to be apart of it.
That feature with Rick Ross Sixteen is just incredible. His bars, the way he rapped it, flow, content, it was just perfect. Outkast is my all time favorite rapgroup and I love them both but Andre 3000 he is just....another league.
OMFG! Say it with me, Ahh-kweh-mah-ni!!!
Miss Jackson is my favorite Outkast record. My favorite Andre track is Hay Ya!
3 stacks is a living legend. I like Big Boi, too, but Andre has always been in my top 5 rappers list. It's a shame they split up. I'd love to get another solo album from Andre!!! I say another solo album as their last double cd Speakerboxxx and The Love Below were separate projects.
Haha. Thank you for saying this! It was killing me!
... Lmfao, corrects man on pronounciation of aquemini.. likes two of the most generic outkast songs.. things like babylon/B.O.B are why these guys are coveted.. not hey ya lol
@@selphconsciousmakes sense he likes Ms. Jackson & Hey-Ya tho cuz Hey-Ya is like Ms. Jackson part 2 in terms of subject matter. Both songs deal with the gradual/inevitable deterioration of committed relationships. & Those 2 songs are just as good as any other OutKast songs. It's a matter of preference.
@@Selah_Saint_1865 no one's arguing how well they write.. lol I'm just stating the obvious, this person likely not that deep into it lol.. but to each their own.
@@selphconscious I mean, they spelled HEY wrong so I don't expect much lol
Thank you, Outkast
Thank you, Goodie Mob
Thank you, Dungon Family 🫡🫡🫡
Absolute legends that made high school hella fun when Hey Ya dropped.
Bless them both. And no pressure, be you Andre
As a Cali girl - LA & IE to the heart, I was in middle school/high school when OutKast had first come out. I remember watching the Source Awards on UPN when they got boo’d and as a Cali girl I didn’t understand their music or artistry. I literally took me becoming grown to appreciate them and I think the discussion around the top 5 doesn’t include Andre like it should.
IDLEWILD! Awesome cast and all done by them. Great movie/musical
Love that movie,! The scene with circle Tyson always brings me to tears (yeah. I'm no good. But I'm into God). When I hipped my wife to that scene, I left the room
Stankonia is one of the all time best albums in all genres. Such a great time for music for those of us born in 79. It felt like a culmination of our experience.
Two geniuses that are great together, separately and never duplicated. I dearly love you Andre and Big Boi, I can't think of one without the other. You are"Out Kasted" in ways you will never know.❤️🌈💯
They reached out to people who don't like rap, like myself
I hate most rap, but I love Outkast, they were extremely talented and great to listen to, they moved me.
Take care of yourself Andre, we all love you just the way you are, keep being you 😎👍❤❤
Came to say that Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and OutKast don't get enough love today for what they did for all of us and the scene/music, I was blessed to be in the South when they were blowing up along with Nappy Roots. Much respec!
and before yall get at it, I'm not saying Bone Thugs are from the South, i can hear your 4chan keyboards starting.
Nearly all of my father side cousins love Bone Thugs and Harmony
27 minutes of cool story. Thanks!
Thank u!
what a wonderful, humble human being ... I had no idea
Sounds like Andre and Bigboi are for real. I get it people change and move forward. Appreciate the uniqueness and creativity of Outkast. It would have been easy to continue with thug rap but they challenged themselves and made music beyond rap, dare I say pop. Unique catchy beats and rhymes that can still be listened to today.
Outkast will forver be my favorite music group ever, i wish i was able to see their concerts. I hope one day they will come together and do another show.
Best rap duo of the 90's-00's
Facts!
Best rap duo period
Naw....
@@Mac_DNH who
@user-zg8ps1yt7p like I stated in my other comment. UGK and 8Ball & MJG were right there with them. Outkast had more commercial success.
Duos from the south those are the top 3. I didn't listen to West Coast or East Coast rap like that.
Miss them! And their music will always BANG out of my speakers ❤️🔥❤️
They were in their own lane. Nuff Respect til this day.
I love OutKast and i love them as big boi aka general patton and Andre 3000/3k or stacks i have their work as outkast and them as solo acts yes even stacks flute music and its great for a relaxing vibe if the fellas do read this i want them to know my big cousin/ brother put me on their music when i was a little boy i wanna say that was 03 im now 25 and im still a massive fan Outkast For Life shout to dungeon family and rico wade
This was a breath of fresh air , content tone wise and Andre wise ,❤
Thank you for the effort you’re putting into the footage and editing. Really appreciate all the photos and videos of the timeline of these artist! Great job!
They (Outkast) were one of the best rap duo's. You can't mention rap duos from the south and not mention 8ball and MJG, or UGK. They all on the same level.
Been waiting for this!
Thanks for whatching!
I love how Andre 3000 mentioned how people were wondering about his behavior as far back as Aquemini
I will argue that Speakerbox may be there most popular album but definitely not their most legendary. ATLiens really cemented their style. Organized Noize was also such a HUGE part of their sound that they deserve mention every time we discuss Outkast
What happened???
He let his grip go of Erykah 🙄
@@williamroark in "Return of The Gangster" off Aquemini, Andre has a line like "Hey Big Boi, what's up with Andre? Is he in a cult? Is he in drugs? Is he gay? When y'all gna break up?"
I will admit Andre did get a little "unique" I'll say with his style and behavior. There's a hilarious Key & Peele skit about it actually
Aquemini and ATLiens are peak.
🔥
Naw. Southernplayalistic was their peak.
@@Mac_DNHrespectfully I disagree. Just listen to verses like aquemini and da art of storytelling pt 1 and 2, spottiedotie , liberation
@@chuck4714 if only mamacita wasnt on it
I love to hear this group was so humble ❤
Finally a new video
Hi!
Lil Wayne always takes credit for being the first rapper to say BLING BLING in a song but he got it from Andre 3000. Andre 3000 said it first in the video for the song 'In Due Time' feat Goodie M.O.B. in 1997. The song Bling Bling didn't come out til 1999. 💎✨💎✨ Edit: & also 3 Stax is so humble he just let Weezie take it & run with it
🙏🏽😇🖖🏽👽✌🏽😎 bruh is a class act fr 💯
Well Done Documentary thanks!!
a LEGEND and HUMBLEMAN.
I usually don't listen to hip-hop, but Outkast catched my attention immediately circa 2000 when I was in high school and this video is so heartwarming, thank You!
André 3k is so cool, it hurts. The man is an art piece. I mean look at him. Impeccable style icon. He's awesome like all the time.
Outkast is crazy legendary. I still tune in till today. Andre 3000, Andre 3000 baby.
Nothing but maximum respect for OutKast But to say that there was No Down South Hiphop before them is false.
🔥🔥
Exactly. Scarface and Master P were doing their thing. P got started on the WC but still repped NO and Tru was around when OutKast was getting started. Cash Money didn’t blow up because of OutKast either. I’m a big fan but they were a part of the rise in the south, not the sole reason.
@@amarshall2896also Eightball & MJG, UGK. They definitely weren't first but the best
@@MusicVibeChannel That ain't all he said wrong! He said, At that time East Coast and West Coast were pretty much the same" 🙄 He must be AI because he not there
@@Rachel_Lol_ i said that south rap sounds more unique than east or west cause their music have a some small differences. And that's not AI
Loved the video, thank you so much for making it. Feels like I just got to hang out with two of my favourite artists and be with them on their creative journey. Looking forward to what the future brings for them both, whatever it is
I'm so glad!
From caterpillar, to cacoon, to butterfly. We should all ask to be so in tune. 🌱
SON! This was absolute gold!
Thank you!
Andre got the purpose of life.fame really sucks😂😂😂😂
Nothing but LOVE
i feel good coming out of this video, thank you!
Hit the scene like a ball of Fire😮😮 butt fires burn out🔥🔥🔥
Miss Jackson & The Way You Move = by far the MOOOSSSTTT FAV TRACKS FROM OUTKAST!!
i came to know about outkast only through MS Jackson!!, the music of that track is SOOO ICONIC of outkast.
Year 2K and it aired for the first time in our country on a music channel,
and thats when i read the word Outkast first time in my life.
About 4 yrs later i came to know that there is an actual word called outcast in english dictionary and has a meaning 😂😂😂😂.
Excellent Video Music Vibe!
thank you!
So fresh and clean, too!
@@cosmicrae yes that too
Thank you for sharing 💝
LOVE THEM LOVED THEM
the absolute creativity in people is astounding and the contribution of Black America to musicality is truly iconic in the true sense of the word.
We just gonna bypass the fact that this man had an entire cartoon show 😂 God bless both of these guys, extraordinarily talented individuals and as much as I'd love to hear more music, I'm genuinely happy that they're happy. Great video!
Good luck to both of them they have e left a great body of work together.
Amazing talent love there work
There’s one incredibly important detail you left out about their success: Steely Dan cracking down on Samples in 1997. Outkast used very few (if any) samples in their beats. The fact that their beats were entirely original compositions made their music stand out. It truly created the Atlanta sound and completely changed the way the rap and hip hop songs were produced and written. This impact cannot be understated.
RIP Rico Wade, one third of the iconic and influential Organized Noize. His musical genius bless the world with some of the greatest music that ever been heard. Right on to the real, death to the fakers
man.. it’s sad 😔 rip 🥀
Wow that was a journey. Andre sure evolved. That's cool.
love this!!!. great vid.. made me cry and then left me happy
I appreciate it ❤️
@@MusicVibeChannel keep up the great work
Speakerboxxx and The Love Below was one of the most epic albums of all times.
Sooo true
Not explicitly a rapper but Frank Ocean is one of the greats with obvious inspirational ties to Andre's work.
Fantastic Segment!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Big Boi is an AQUarius and Andre 3000 is a gEMINI = Aquemini. Still one of my favorite albums.
Andre was also in Four Brothers ❤️
Air signs!!! 🩷🩷🩷🩷 The unique ones too
One correction, speakerboxxx /love below did NOT sell the most COPIES it sold the most UNITS. It's a double album so each COPY counted as 2 UNITS. So it being 13x platinum means it sold 6.5 million copies, not 13. Any single disc album that sold 7 million or more actually sold more.
Thanks for correction
The moment when I heard The Players Ball, I was massively relieved that someone had made and released such music. I was obsessed 😎🙏🏽
3000 grew up, he said all he wanted to. One of the GOATS!
Great Video! OutKast👽Forever 👽
thank you!
I’m shocked that he still goes to the laundromat. He’s at peace with himself and that’s great ❤
Very nice story telling and good research. Keep it up

Andre 3000 is amazing. I've always been such a massive fan.
It’s video like this that make you understand and APPRECIATE these artists.❤

Total love for andre!
Aquemini is hands down, my favourite album of all time! Genius 🎉
I really dig his flute playing...sounded so serene.
As a Georgia boy ( Savannah native ) I'm proud of Outkast, Andre 3000 and Big Boy are such good dudes and proud as hell for puttin' the South on the map for hip hop
What a great story. Blessings to Andre and Big Boi
Super creative. People at the top don’t like that. Seriously another level.
Hits after hits

Grew up on ATLiens, loved Outkast
ATLiens is on my top10 list of albums!
Jus str8 up 🐐
Andre and his flute are adorable 💚
Andre 3000, is a true artist, breaking free of the restrictions of rap music and making just good music with a larger appeal. Most of us, who were not locked into the rap genre wasn’t even aware of them until Andre broke out
