- Not something I usually review, but I picked up a new replacement torch (flashlight) for when I work on my Handhelds (and when I go out at night).
Is this low cost Amazon torch good enough to meet all your needs?

I modded the Warm LED to give Moonlight mode.. higher resistor...and made it Wireless Charging..those cheap wireless adapters cut down to fit inside..
Wireless charging sounds good. Did you follow a guide or make the jack yourself?
Looks like a gadget lover's dream, especially for inside. LOL. I am sure I would like it, especially as it charges USB C. My main concern is that it is only IPX4. Although I have headlamp/flashlight(s) with that rating I decided to try not to go lower than IPX5, and prefer IPX8. That way I know it will likely work when I need it and it can be washed if it gets dirty, or if I forget it in my pocket when clothes are laundered. ;-) Oh, and I have been hiking on a day when it rained 4.5 inches! It looks a bit like a RovyVon, IIRC they have now gone to IPX5.
As a gadget lover I'm certainly making use of it. Being water proof would have been nice but currently its not been out in poor weather but it has been used a lot around the home for various tasks like hunting out tiny screws or the backs off ear rings as its a good light for scanning around floors. Also good for catching cheeky kids playing chap door run when they think they've hidden and you catch them in a beam of a searchlight small enough to fit in palm of your hand.🤣
I succumbed to impulse buying and I snatched one up. I really like it. Not so excited about the teensy little alarm. The magnet and keyring make for a great fidget toy in the pocket. Wish the uv led was a slightly different wavelength. Not very useful.
The panic alarm is just loud enough to irritate you but not enough to be an alarm. 🤣. UV is only really fun for reenacting Tron in your tightly whities. 🤣
But the main white LEDs are all useful I find.
the V3 has a better button action. not sure why they power and mode buttons are opposite of each other between the two models. I like the way the V3 fits - the v10 needs the rounded sides, same button action and same sides for the mode and power as the v3 and the v10 would be perfect. the siren is silly imo
Can you explain why you feel the action button is better? I was under the impression it was the same double press to change modes as the V10? I have to say the V10 shape grows on you, it can be stood on its side or flat, and its not uncomfortable to hold. What swung it for me as the better ultraviolet light... agreed though the panic siren is too quiet to be useful and its press and hold to activate which again is silly.
Comparing the two. I think the buttons are equally tactile, the v10 is easier to press being slightly larger and more discernible if that makes sense. not sure why the power button on the v10 is on the right and on the v3, its on the left. vise versa. the v3 has a slightly lower kelvin beam color than the v10. the v10 feels more blocky in the grip .. v3 being more ergonomic. both equally bright. glowing case is handy for the night stand.
@@nwmi493 I originally picked the smoked black V10 and i loved it. looked slick but no glowing case.... sadly mine had a fault and the battery started to swell so I returned it and swapped to the clear white (glowing) one and so far its been faultless.

"Can you suggest anything else about UV" - The UV is certainly bright enough to check "paper" currency for watermarks or check dirty hotel rooms for "stains" 🤣

Check your local Amazon or Aliexpress as they both list them. Aliexpress is obviously a lot cheaper.

Sorry. Seems to be what other reviewers have done, bad habits. I indeed blinded myself several times in the making of the video. 🤣
Cant even run Skyrim, the screen resolution is horrible, and its way too small for comfortable gaming sessions. The only good thing is the clear casing. All in all a pretty horrible device, I give it a 4/10
🤣 Works great at night.... not so good during the day though.
