It's sad that some people think all Tony did was sing backup. He was part of the soul of Crossfade and his departure has been felt, even if the band continues being awesome.

100% spot on. Tony was the magic sauce and why they were a 1 album wonder. I have met Ed/mitch many times and seen them live a ton. Great guys and band but anything after their debut album kinda sucks. Tony is the difference.

@@Brandon2940 The original song is actually in Standard B with a full step down dropped 6th string, but he's not even using the 7 strings guitar for this performance.
That's the problem of writing the song at your top vocal range. It wears after a while and you have to drop now and then to get a clean vocal. Worth it in this case!

Actually, this song was recorded with a seven string, which is a baritone, in drop A (ADADGBE), so that probably has a lot to do with why it sounds different.

I was actually quite impressed. The venue is notoriously difficult to deal with and makes, even very good acts, struggle. Adjusted after the first little bit and did really well.
Sure did. Mix is bad too from sound guy. But there is alot of complaints from major acts about playing in a TV studio vs live venue

Evan Drince whats missing is hes not using his usual 7 string Schecter. The scale length and what not add a lot to the old crossfade sound. This is the only show where I've seen him not use a 7 string.
I'll be straightforward: the guitarist, who is the frontman, should have stayed on the side, while the backup singer should have been the lead singer. The stage arrangement looks odd. Nevertheless, they all perform and sing excellently, and it is indeed a fantastic song.

+Matt Dillon he does the harmonys and i believe i saw in an interview he writes alot of the vocal parts and does all the harmonys on the album
+Matt Dillon Well for one thing he hits the amazingly difficult harmony vocals throughout the whole song... That alone gives justification for him being there, not to mention the creative input he has for songwriting. Have respect for him dude, the fact he pulled this off LIVE says a lot.
+MillionMothTree That is Tony Byroads the dude is an amazing vocalist. He can actually sing just as good IF NOT better than Ed Sloan. Check out his band called The Undivided. They are amazing!
