  • The Okandjoze Chiefs' Assembly on Genocide (OCAG) has voiced a strong condemnation of the Namibian government’s handling of the Nama and Ovaherero genocide negotiations with Germany.

    Lastly, a national conference won't get the issue solved. Bring the affected communities to the table, even if it means taking family members. The communities have traditional authorities, but they too sim indecisive on the matter. The country, especially the affected communities, need to urge those representative to final solve the case. Its being dragged on for years now

    The agreement hasn't been adopted by parliament. Why are people still ill informed about the matter. If Germany, doesn't want to officially recognize what their ancestors did. The affected community, through government to take the matter to the international courts. The colony countries where supposed to pay reparations to all the colonized counties, after their independence. Why did the UN of that time, see it feet in demanding such, from the colonies, while the leaders where still alive. The international courts, of this generation have really failed on their mandated. To the point where, no international body, was instituted to be them accountable on their recent judgements on genocide.
