from Feb 25 till March 3 there is a grand theyyam (please wiki it) festival in payyanur, off the road you travelled from the Bar to Kavvayi beach. It's called Kappatt Kazhagam. I feel you should experience it. if you are not far from kerala, india, being a payyanur native i welcome you to my great place.
those two drunkard idiots are in no way symbolise my place's grandeur and culture. it's a land of great history.
A payyanur local here, It was a good video enjoyed it so mucu. But there are still so many more things to explore like theyyam and beachs (not the one in this video)
And also local cuisine 👍🏻
