just curious as to why you don’t put more line on your spool? looks like if you caught a rainbow and it took a run you would be out fast 😂😂 could have been just the camera angle as well. great work. way to put in the footwork to make it happen. heading out to Cascade armed with a snowmobile rental from valley bait and tackle and my eskimo 2400 eskape 2 man flip and my hole hopper sled fully loaded with my gear for 4 days. have bought several different lures such as the VMC tingler and the rocker jigs some tantrum rattle baits from frostbite, war pigs from Berkeley and Seeker spoons from Widow maker lures. I’ll have a blast either way jumbos or no jumbos i’ll be happy spending time on the ice with friends making memories. fish will always be there catching one is just a way of god telling me good job bud 🤘🏼🤙🏼. i respect all life and i find i get that in return. happy trails my friend and tight lines
Like I mentioned in the vid, I put in 1lb test on my spool to see how the fish would fight and to feel the fight of the fish. Wanted to test myself against the fish and give them a fair fight. That spool would be full if it was say 4lb test. Plus where I fish Ive noticed 9 out of 10 times I don’t hook up w a trout. They are in different areas of the lake. You seem to be set on your gear and what you need for your trip, sounds like an amazing time and I hope you get on fish. My suggestion if you’ve never fished the lake is look for deepest water combined w some kind of structure, good luck out there and thanks for the great comment and watching!!

Those were some beautiful Jumbo's. I see you have the same Striker gloves that I have. I really like them, but not when it gets really cold.
