This is so surreal to watch. With each game and touchdown I immediately remember exactly where I was at that point in time and what was going on in my life. This is like reliving the last 10 years of my life in hyperdrive.

    • @Joseph-nh6in

They win the super bowl 3 times between 2010-2014 if it wasn't for Joe Flacco having so many dropped touchdown passes in the playoffs. In 2010 Boldin drops a touchdown to go up against the Steelers with a few minutes left, then Housh drops a 4th and 18 conversion. In 2011 Flacco throws a touchdown pass to Lee Evans to go to the super bowl with 13 seconds left but it is dropped, then missed fg. In 2014 he had 4 touchdown passes against the Pats and then on back to back drives he had touchdown passes dropped/alligator armed by Owen Daniels and Torrey Smith. He should have had 6 touchdown passes. In 2014 the Ravens would have then hosted the shitty Colts in Baltimore and in 2010 they would've hosted the shitty Sanchez-led Jets in Baltimore. Joe FLacco had a 95+ passer rating in 9 out of 10 of these playoff games in this time, and had 24 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. How easily Flacco could have been 28 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in that time, if not for his receivers and tight ends letting him down in huge situations. Such a damn shame. Then that 2015 injury happened :( Flacco was a hall of fame talent that just barely missed out on having a historic dynasty. But hey, he still has the most road playoff wins of any quarterback in nfl history.

When you combine the wins ( 865 playoff and regular season games, 471 wins over 56 seasons ) of the Baltimore Colts and Baltimore Ravens, you get the sixth best winning percentage ( .544 ) in the history of the NFL! The Baltimore Colts and Baltimore Ravens combined playoff winning percentage ( .571 ) would be 6th best in NFL history, as well. And if counted as just a Baltimore team, Baltimore's Ravens/Colts 6 ( 1958, 1959, 1968, 1970, 2000, 2012 ) NFL Titles would be tied for fourth most with New England and Pukesburgh.
Our 56 seasons ( 31 Colts, 25 Ravens ) is like having a team in Baltimore continuously from 1965 to the present.

Watching this whole video making me having nostalgia. I truly will say that the 2010-2012 era is the best era in ravens history. Pure talent and contenders in winning the super bowl each year. Even tho people will say 2000 or 2006 ravens is individually are the ravens best team but year before that we had a losing season. In 2009 we went to division with a young qb and rb. Honestly we didn’t won 2010 Super Bowl cuz flacco turning into fluko, poor play calling, and the worst secondary ever and a Tj drop ball. 2011 we know….Cundiff 😤. 2012 even tho we won. Remember we had a lot of injuries on defense period and offensive line.
The reason why weren’t successful the years after that cuz our franchise cornerstones were old Ed reed and ray lewis. Boldin was old. Birk and Mckinnie were old. Suggs and Ngata was getting there too. So sooner than later us struggling would had come anyway. It came faster when ray rice left.
But I see the 2010-2012 teams as this current team era in ravens history. 2019 and 2020 we were legit super bowl contenders. This year we are contenders again. This Lamar third year in the system. Like flacco. Jk is ray rice. Bateman will be Tory. Watkins will be boldin. Two good tight ends. Veteran offensive lineman. Cleveland is KO. Very savy d line. Faster inside linebackers. 100x better secondary. Remember Webb and smith was always injured back then. And remember our coordinators those years was passive not aggressive. Now aggressive on both sides of the ball.
Last point. When we win the Super Bowl this year and Lamar will be the 350 million dollar man. Our team won’t get depleted like the time. 2 of our 3 franchise players are locked up long term except Lamar. Young receivers tight ends and running backs. Andrews will get Tag for two years. I feel like Bozeman will be reasonable in price. Future linebackers are lock in. Marcus peters is the new jimmy smith in contacts. Chuck and deshon ain’t gonna demand that much. Tavon 2 years left with wade and Stephens. But we will lose the d line but we will draft well and get veterans. So will be straight for four more years. Till it’s a completely new team. Within those next four 2022 and on. Will win one more Super Bowl

I don't care what anyone says about Joe Flacco. He may not have been the most flashy guy, he may have had a poor stretch here and there. He may not have put up video game numbers. But that guy won a lot of games over the years. And when playoff time rolled around, he was as dangerous as anyone. He won a lot of playoff games. Even the games he lost, there were several that should've been wins. We should've iced the Steelers in 2010. Lee Evans should've caught that touchdown in 2011. We should've iced the Patriots in 2014. Not to mention he went through a new offensive coordinator and quarterback coach almost every year it seemed like. Maybe elite isn't the word for him but is way, way better than he'll ever be given credit for.
