Walt Disney World Vlog| DAY THREE | Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs, Christmas Tree Stroll & Luminous

- It's day three of our Walt Disney World Christmas trip! Ellie and I start the day at Animal Kingdom where we make the most of lower wait times and ride Everest, Dinosaur, Flight of Passage and more! It's then time for all the Animal Kindgom snack offerings, a viewing of The Festival of the Lion King and then heading on to Disney Springs.
At Springs, we enjoy exploring the Christmas tree stroll and we are so impressed by the designs of all the trees, Lorna tries the butter bar and we both enjoy our favourite - the Duck Duck Razz at The Boathouse.
It's getting chilly, so we wrap up warm and head on out to EPCOT. We cannot get over how stunning the new Moana Journey of Water attraction is at night and adore the Christmas layover in Living with the Land. We end the night watching the new firework show: Luminous and give our honest review of the attraction.

Totally understand the dizzy feeling too!! Im 35 and i can't handle the big rollar coasters the same now. Went on guardians and didnt have a clue where i was. 😂
Haha - I always think putting stairs at the end of that ride is a mistake!
7:36 I think it had to do with getting older😂 I just turned 30 and I’ve started to get more sensitive to coasters! Went to Busch Gardens back in 2022 and oh my goodness, I got so sick!! I’m usually okay at Disney, but when we went in September I felt kinda woozy after Everest and Big Thunder!
I've not had it on Big Thunder yet, but fear those days may be numbered!!
Spinning is a no for me(45) but I loved guardians (a little spun out but fine) Tron, big thunder, Everest. Doing the rides with your kids is so much fun! Everest is intense because it goes backwards. I'm fine on it but was a little sick of it after 3 walk ons (keeping up with my 12 year old)
The think you have to do is listen to your body and take your time. We love all the other less intense rides and shows too.

Listening to your body is so important - as you say it's great that there are loads of amazing less intense rides too!

I thought it was just me, I’ve just turned 33 and it’s only my last few trips I’ve started coming off Everest a bit dizzy! Whereas pre 30s I could ride it over and over! 😂
Glad it's not just me!! I miss those simpler days haha!
Lorna- you & I are the same age. I LOVE coasters, especially Everest! Unfortunately you're not imagining it- we're getting older 😭 lol but we have to keep riding until we just can't no more! #rideordie

Yep. It’s age. I’m 42. I used to be able to do rides like Everest 6/7 times in a row. Now it’s 2 max. FOP never used to make me queasy and now it does.
Nooo not FOP too!! Thankfully that one hasn't got me yet, but Space Mountain and Everest are definitely going that way!
I just turned 46 and oh my god, rollercoasters batter me these days! …my daughter is 12 and loves them so I still go on them with her, but defo not as enjoyable as I’m getting older. We did velocicoaster for the first time last month, and I’m not sure I’ll do it again - felt like my brain was rattling around in my head! 😂
Haha - I remember feeling like my soul had left my body on that coaster!
You girls are so lucky you have each other and that you enjoy the same things. I wish my friends shared my passion for Disney !
It's what brought Ellie and I together - we randomly started talking about a hypothetical trip one day in the staff room! I hope you can find your Disney buddy too!
The same happened to me as i got older my body doesn’t cope well with rollercoasters anymore 😢😂

I absolutely understand the dizziness with age!! Ever since I turned 30 I have gone downhill with these rides! I definitely won’t stop doing them, but oh man Guardians gets me so sick I’ve had to take medicine beforehand! 😅

Mine is spinning. I used to be fine but now I’m 37 I really struggle with even the tiniest spin
Yeah never been to AK dunno why the other parks just seem " do not miss" so for me its a priority thing ( shame cuz i love animals to ) ,about the dino ride i miss jaws & my all time fav back to the future at universal
Jaws was one of my favourites too! As much as I love Diagon Alley I do wish it hadn't meant getting rid of Jaws!
@@Millsiebee it was just one of those iconic rides that you'll never get back same as splash mountain ,i totally understand a refresh & need to move on but some rides should just be left ,this is where survey's & opinion polls should come in lol

I absolutely love roller coasters and thrill rides but now at 45, I also feel a bit dizzy depending on the ride. Getting old stinks! 😂

Yep, it’s an age thing. I used to love Hulk so much. Now I just can’t do it anymore. Nope 😵💫
