- Following the award-winning Beavers Without Borders, Beaver Trust collaborates again with multi-award-winning filmmaker, Nina Constable, on a brand new documentary about making space for rivers in England.
Join science communicator, Sophie Pavelle, and explore the concept of 'river buffers' - a measure that may restore our failing rivers back to health. Meeting experts and key voices in this vital discussion, key questions are addressed: what are river buffers? What shapes do they take? How might they help? And what are the challenges to overcome in implementing them across the country?

Heritage and culture need to be taught to all so everybody learns to love and respect the lands we get to live on. We should want to protect it, not massacre and eliminate it completely.
Excellent film , it is great to see young people working to save our rivers. I have fished most of my life and love river habitats and would love to see more beavers released and more river buffers.

See NATURAL SEQUENCE FARMING, by the great PETER ANDREWS in Australia, restoring their dying waterways. Seen on AUSTRALIAN STORY. This a good repeat, but it will keep it in peoples minds. Regenerative farming practice ie less damaging fertilizer is a major factor. Regards
It is painfull to see that Britain now has to do all this persuasion work on its own, when these Buffer zones are already mandatory based on an EU directive...
