I received my hyperdeck this week and used your video to learn how to use it
    2 questions:
    - What can you trigger by clicking/pushing the wheel?
    - How can you select what video you want to play, besides the forward/backward buttons?

Thanks for the great video! Also keen to hear about the workflow for the teleprompter - particularly editing text via computer connected to the Hyperdeck or does is involve switching the SD card for each text edit.

Q I purchased the hyper deck shuttle. It’s all set up and can record live unedited footage back. I can’t get the device to playback any edited video. I export from camtasia to MP4. I use Adobe media encoder. Why won’t the device recognize the edited video for play back. A video on doing this would be great!

Could You tell me if it is correct: Atem Mini HDMI out to Hyperdeck HDMI in, then Hyperdeck HDMI out to Atem HDMI in (example: CH8). I record on SSD, i have to stop for see the instant Replay?

Hello, a few months ago I bought this hyperdeck, it works perfectly if I connect it with the atem mini pro or Extreme that I have. But when connected to the hdmi output of an iMac computer to record the Program signal, the hyperdeck behaves strangely, an intermittence in the signal is maintained, that is, if it has video, it goes black like the blink of an eye. Apart from looking like this, it also records like this. I have connected it to an hdmi distributor that is connected to the computer does not solve the problem. I thought that an update of the unit would solve the problem for me, but it did not. It only works well if an Atem Mini is connected in its way... I would like to be able to record from the hdmi output of the computer because that's where the signal produced comes out.
Something that also happens is that you cannot put any HDMI cable to input video to the hyperdeck because it does not receive the signal, there are some HDMI cables that do work with this unit.
If anyone knows this problem and has been able to solve it, I appreciate the help.

Oh yes great video.I am having a problem connecting the Hyperdeck Shuttle to my Atem Extreme. It says "Failed Connection" The Atem IP is DHCR and the IP for the Hyperdeck is Static. Would that make a difference or it is something else. Please Help !

Unfortunately it's a known issue that IP addresses are not always working with the hyperdeck. Goto you ATEM Software Control, navigate to hyperdeck and change the IP address temporary and back to the original IP. It should work again

How does it compare to the same price HD Mini? No teleprompter, no HDMI in, SDI in and Out

Hyperdeck Studio HD Plus is a way better option and futureproof as well. Save up and buy the studio HD. Own monitor so if you have the mini pro you don't need 2 hdmi out ports and second monitor, etc.

Jac, I agree from the perspective of sdi workflow, however the studio hd does not have hdmi in, so you need a converter, or purchase the hd plua.

I feel it's an overpriced video player... and I've gone over all its features.

@@TechCondo I'm using a ROKU Stick (HDMI Output) and it works like charm... It pretty much has every feature this ATEM Shuttle HD has (excluding the teleprompter) for fraction of the price. It has its remote and can navigate easily between videos etc. I use Plex media server to access videos… dead simple and works like charm… cost £45 unlike this ATEM device that is going around £480.
I always loved Blackmagic design, but this is pushing it in terms of price point.
