    Absolutely legendary video, so helpful. Thank you so much. I was worried because I only saw one past paper on the TMUA website so your links to both the past papers and notes are insanely helpful. I really appreciate it.

    Amazing video! Is there a way you could share the pdfs differently? The link does not work for me. Maybe through sharing it by google drive? Thank you!

      Thank you. Are you referring to the TMUA 2023 notes? I just tested the link, and it worked for me (you might want to try opening the link through your browser). Could you please check again and let me know if you encounter any issues?

      Hi! Thank you for pointing out the issue with the link. I am very sorry that it wasn't working for your device. I tested it and it didn't work for mine as well. But I have switched to another link just now, could you please check again? I hope it works.

    Hi. Thank you for your sharing of the pdf. But how can I print it out through the website you offered?

    • @zhiheng796
      @zhiheng796  Před 2 měsíci

      Hi, I'm not sure whether it is possible for you to download and print the document from the website; I only chose it because it's the only site allowing me to share the document for viewing.
      However, if you really need to download the TMUA notes and print them for personal use, you could reply and provide your email here. I will then send the original PDF document to your email. Is that alright?

    bro what score did u get in the TMUA? And MAT if u did it to get shortlisted for cambridge?

    • @zhiheng796

      Hi, I got 4.6 for the Mathematical Thinking component, and 6.7 for the Mathematical Reasoning component. The TMUA last year was especially difficult; the average score for economics applicants to Trinity College, Cambridge was 5.4 for both components. I hope you find this information useful.

    Hey I am from India and currently in grade 11
    . Should I start preparing for tmua right now???

    • @zhiheng796
      @zhiheng796  Před 2 měsíci

      Hi, I think year 11 is probably too early for you to start preparing for TMUA. 😂
      You should probably focus on revising for your IGCSE/O-level first, but if you still want to attempt some TMUA questions to get a feel of the difficulty level, past papers could readily be found online. Don't get discouraged by the questions, though; some may require knowledge beyond your current GCSE math course.

      Grade 11 in India actually refers to Year 12

    • @zhiheng796
      @zhiheng796  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Ohhh, I see. Thank you for pointing this out! I'm not aware of this, and I'm grateful for the clarification.
      If anyone is currently in Year 12 (or Grade 11 in India) and thinking about sitting for TMUA, then I would say it depends on your progress for the standard A-level math course. All the math knowledge you need for doing TMUA is included in A-level math; at least this is true for TMUA run by Cambridge Assessment. If you have covered at least 50% of your A-level math syllabus, then I think TMUA practice would be worth doing. You could start early and complete all of the TMUA past papers, and if they cease to challenge you, you could move on to MAT and STEP papers.
      I hope this comment helps.

      Hi, thank you for your comment.
      I changed my mind to apply for economics instead of law in early August last year. I did not attend Manchester to study law as I've decided to take a gap year and reapply.
