Tim is wonderful.
Tim described the situation how he realised he was now sitting with Partridge and the dj then redescribes that moment.
1:43 You really feel the 'yeah' here. And another at 2:06.
Let’s not forget Michael!..God rest him!..☹️
You need to listen to Alan Partridge From The Oasthouse on Audible.
@@jimontoast5524 I’ll give it a listen 👍
He’s not dead!
Mid Morning Matters is genius with both of them operating at the top of their game. Some difference to now where comedy is on the floor.
David Suchet is still alive. Unless he went during the night and has yet to be discovered by the maid...
Side kick Simon,is comedy Dave.
Julia Brabury?
Ook
Gary Wilmot?
Ok
Just repeat that for me
Wilmot was a top singer that people went to see for a good few years. It surprised me at the time when I found out. I was like , what's this? Get back in your box Wilmot!.. but no. He had to be a class act and not just a kids tv presenter. I'll never forgive him for imposing such a career bend on my fickle , tired mind.
Mid morning matters was the last time Partridge was funny. Since then it's been painfully unfunny
Agreed. “This Time” was appalling.
As an Alanist - I agree with both of you.
This Time just seemed to try too hard. You’ll just never be able to top Partridge in a room, with one or two guests, chatting. That’s all it was, and it was genius.
