another way to make the indents on the base... use a cap off a toothpaste tube. or something like it that has ridges, just roll it around the "paper/wrapper" part. does a great job
Omg....I was looking back at your old videos...and I found this one. Aww your cupcakes were still so cute even years and years later!! Thank you for posting I love watching your vids and I love your charms! ( lol I am thinking to myself why am I commenting this video cause you will probably never see this comment)
Love the video was very helpful. Thank you for sharing. What did you mix to make the icing? Also I love the rainbow icing on the other one you showed. Would love to know how to do that. Also would love to see you make a tutorial about painting, glazing, and backing them I guess pretty much a start to finish product step by step if possible. I'm new to all this and would love to learn more from you. You're video is one of the best I have seen. I can't wait to watch more. Thank you for sharing. Nicky :)
She most likely mixed translucent liquid polymer clay with some pastel chalk shavings, to give the liquid clay some colour. There are different brands that sell liquid polymer clay, like Sculpey, Fimo and Kato.
Hiii i like your tutorials. Really helpful especially for beginners like me! Do you make tutorials on making polymer clay cabochons?:) like chocolate bars... Or maybe ribbons. Hope you'll make ones soon :3
Hi, please show a separate vid on how to add a headpin to your clay. Mine seem to come out after a while. I have tried both ways. Using TLS before baking and after baking, but after baking i used a safety pin (as seen on heather wells channel) but my fortune cookie charm broke. Thanks so much just subscribed :)
G'day, I was wondering (for when I am back in Australia) where do you purchase your clay from? I found a few shops before I left (currently on University exchange in Japan) but the clay was always so expensive. or do you buy online? Thank you for your help and awesome tutorial I will be trying this tomorrow :D
For the shading can you use the chalks (not the ones you draw with outside) it's the ones that you draw with on paper and can you bake them with the chalk on the clay??
What is TLS pls.? TY. I live YOUR work as I am just learning about clays. I don't gave molds nor a lot if tools and I have tiny fingertips too, so I think I can do this! Thank you so much. P.S. are you from Australia?? Lively accent! Cheers.
awesome, thank you, I know you have many followers. sorry my spelling was so rotten, I was using my cell and eye site isn't what it used to be. LOL. I am finding that I am needing more stuff. an hubby is restricting me buying things I need. :(
Caeleigh Feindt I think you might mean liquid clay :) TLS is the liquid clay by the brand Sculpey (it stands for Translucent Liquid Sculpey) or there is also Fimo Deco Gel which I personally have never tried :) TLS is more "milky" and the deco gel is very transparent and water-like!
+Eliza Salgado they're the same thing! There are a few different liquid clays available and the brand Sculpey has one called Translucent Liquid Sculpey (TLS) :)
Nail polish remover is perfectly fine for removing dust, just like rubbing alcohol- a lot of crafters use it! You might be thinking of nail polish for glazing which is bad for the clay :)
I have questions can i bake that in microwave?is it safe and can i use clay not polymer clay? Also can i bake the clay (not polymer clay)in the microwave?
Thank you for showing how to do the base without a mould you make it look so easy and your cupcakes are sooooo sweet xx

im new to all this clay figurine stuff and i was wondering what TLS is and what brand is best to use.
Caeleigh Feindt I think you might mean liquid clay :) TLS is the liquid clay by the brand Sculpey (it stands for Translucent Liquid Sculpey) or there is also Fimo Deco Gel which I personally have never tried :) TLS is more "milky" and the deco gel is very transparent and water-like!
oh okay thank you soo much that was extremely helpful :) creativesculpey
I see you use Sculpey and Fimo, but don't they have different baking temperatures? Which temperature do you use?
+CharissaHoogy I just do a rough average :) all my charms are baked at 120*C and the time depends on how big the charm is :)
+Creative Rachy which one do you use the most Sculpey or Fimo
I probably use equal amounts of each!
Hi and thx for this gem. Whats TLS?
Stephen Nicholas translucent liquid Sculpey:)
Oh ok thx, can not buy that in Sweden.
Can you make a charm made from moddeling clay I don’t have polymer clay 🙂
Great! Now I don't have to buy a mold!
Extremely new to this..what is TLS? What color did you use to shade? Thank you :)
TLS is translucent liquid sculpey.. I would suggest to check out my polymer clay tips and trick video if you are new!
And I also have a separate video on shading too :)
Thank you
Um hi! I'm new here to polymer clay and I was wondering what was the difference between translucent liquid clay and translucent liquid sculpey?
+Eliza Salgado they're the same thing! There are a few different liquid clays available and the brand Sculpey has one called Translucent Liquid Sculpey (TLS) :)
+Creative Rachy Oh thank you!!
Can i use colorless nail polish for making it shine
Joana San Jose Yes but it will make the charm go very sticky and yellow over time
Please answer how much would you sell these for around...
Im just curious how many oz do u get in your clay packets 😄
Lucy Gibbons they are 56 or 57 grams :)
I heard nail polish remover is bad for polymer clay. So I haven't tried it yet. Is it safe for the clay?
Nail polish remover is perfectly fine for removing dust, just like rubbing alcohol- a lot of crafters use it! You might be thinking of nail polish for glazing which is bad for the clay :)
+Creative Rachy okay thanks
What do you use to glaze it? Thanks Rachy.
