That chant actually predates Pomu by a lot. I'm pretty sure she's addressed it before.

The wotagei chants originated from AKB48 and hello project. All the overseas AKB groups are based in Asia and k-pop seems to be more popular in the west.
I’m aware the type of chant predates Pomu, but it’s still amazing that it made it into the official song
@@Kuro_kon I mean, it supposedly predates AKB by a long shot. I remember watching a youtube video by the wota who's known to have brought it into the modern idol scene (as one blog states that it originated in the rock/metal band scene), and he talked about how he and his friends would start mixing at ZONE concerts in the late 90's (yes, the band that sang the Secret Base song in 2001) to let off steam and get hype. The fact that this happened in Hokkaido explains why the third MIX ("chant") is in the Ainu language. The one Pomu does for DCL is called the Kahen Sanren MIX, which google translates to, uhhh, three variable mix, which basically means it mashes together the three standard mixes, the English one, the Japanese one, and the Ainu one.
The original never felt complete without the jinzo faiya chant, so the fact that the girls were able to do it this time makes this version infinitely better!
This is the definitive version of DCL for sure
Even before they got to the chant, this felt much better than the original somehow.
Being able to add Pomu's chant just topped it off perfectly.

If that sounds silly, then we're all nutcases, because them having the chant included in this masterpiece made me cry like a baby, while grinning like an idiot. The wotagei went from being a 'Just for fun' thing Pomu added in for her karaoke streams, to being an unofficial addition to the song which even the other ENLivers got in on, and here we are, watching as it's done in their first ever official DCL 3D stream.
It just really goes to show just how far the girls have come, and that they still remember where they started.

When I first heard this song, Elira had no teeth and only showed her chuuni-fujoshi side a little; Finana's ONLY yabai thing was saying that stirring noodles sounded like...something else; Pomu's Metal Gear brainrot was non-existent; and there was a significant lack of JINZOU FAIYA FAIBO WAIPA. Oh yeah, and NijiSanjiEN only consisted of 3 Livers.
