It’s the reason I’m not getting the erevo2.0 cus I have the kraton if I didn’t own the kraton I’d probably get the new erevo,but next on my list was the trx4bronco or the xmaxx but after seeing this rig I’m changing my mind,lol this is sweeeet!

Awesome video nice truck definitely not a slash looks like it's set up like the axial Yeti score and seems to handle very similar with the straight axle rear and ifs suspension. Truck looks tuff awesome bashing sweet jumps cool slow motion shots
because these UDR's are so cool i think it's going to be a much longer wait then usual before i'll be able to find a used one down @ a price a poor person can afford which sucks because after watching the UDR in action for the last months or so driving my old slash just doesn't do anything for me anymore ; -(
After performing like that stock I cannot wait to see what you have in store for electronics and upgrades and what that thing will be capable of after tuning the suspension and maybe some new shocks! Love the video and one of the coolest Stadium truck / trophy truck / ultimate desert racer! It seems like your wife has a heavy trigger finger on that RC, and man does it get up and go on 6s. A new set of shoes will help with traction and maybe a set of foams. Good thing you been doing all those Tire tests so you will have a broad range of tires to try on it, I would think the Hyrax would be a great candidate for this truck! Keep up the awesome work and put Now videos like this! Would love to see it at a skatepark or BMX track or a good RC track! 👊😀👍🇺🇸🏁
None of my tires fit this truck, and I do have plans for it up to and including 8s as I've figured out how to do it, just waiting for the Max6 esc to show up. I already have the motor I need. Found a smaller spur gear and I'll get the biggest pinion possible since the motor is only 1500kv. Yeah the wife didn't let up on throttle at all!! LOL!!! I told her she could let up on the white dirt hill and it ended up lawn darting. Pretty spectacularly. I have abunch of more videos scheduled to record for this truck so stay tuned.

Did you cut tires to let the sand out? I find that my body is quite fragile... I can't see it lasting through too much abuse... I already have a rip at the bottom rail..where the screw holds body...

Totally can't decide between this or the xmaxx... The desert racer looks cooler and more realistic, but the xmaxx seems more rugged and able to do more (like climb a curb for example) Decisions decisions...
Hey I have a UDR also. I installed a hobbywing max6 with a savox servo. Also I just purchased the spektrum DX5C Transmiter. I already calibrated it. But It won’t give me reverse and foward at the same time. It’s either foward or reverse. Any suggestions

I’m not entirely sure how long it will bash around on the 5000mah battery. I know we had about 10 minutes more than you see in this video and was around 50% on the battery when I checked it.
Better than I expected but im not sure if I wanna run 2 3s batteries or 1 6s The 6s means I only need to charge one batterie but two means I have more runtime and Im having a hard time deciding.

I noticed the sound too. I thought the diffs were the culprit then he kinda confirmed it. Ball siffa would be awesome in this but would never take the abuse. A spool up front and putty in rear would be perfect it seems
Nah you want the front end to have a diff or it would push worse than it does now. To make it turn fast you have to slide the rear. When I see a rear diff available I’ll get it
Good info I’m just sitting back and taking it all in 😁. I decided to pick up my udr yesterday. I was going to hold Out for the fox yet after 2 weeks of contplating the red was to sexy after seeing it a few times so I went ahead and snagged it up..

Take the two spare tires off the back and run it, changes the whole weight distribution.
Yeah from what I’ve seen the weight of the tires help the performance. I’ve run without them and didn’t like it.

Yeah man the UDR is one smooth truck I’m sure if you look hard enough there will be someone who hates it and will sell for a reasonable price.

No it does not have a slipper clutch, it does have a tight center diff. I’m sure there will be scale builds of this truck soon

I’ve not cut the tires but they do have sand in them so something will have to be done and yeah the bottom edge of the body is very thin and weak.
I put electric tape around the bottom of my body where it goes into the rails. Hopefully it'll prevent it from future tears.
I just made some glue on supports and I'll try them tonight and see how they work. If they do good I may make a few to sell.

??? Forward, brake and then reverse is how it should be. Do you have the programmer for it?

If you want to upgrade your udr get the xt90 plug adapter and change them out, then you can use any gens ace you want.

I'd say about 30 minutes or more. After that you'll want to let things cool down a bit anyways.

The mesh is actually pretty good. I checked that before the run and it’s set as good as anything else I have.
I agree. The mesh sounds super tight between pinion and spur. It's making me cringe.
It’s also mod.8. So basically all steel 32p. It doesn’t sound bad at all in person.
