Samsung admitted they lied about the moon pics. It’s Ai that fades into a super imposed photo of the moon. Someone took a photo of a white circle with dark background and zoomed in and welp it super imposed a Ai photo of moon. I’d sue Samsung as they admitted it, and was proven.
@Itsmy2cent I took a picture of it during the day at like 10x magnified then 100x and it turned the background black. I thought the simulation was broke.
Thank you so much! Finally managed to take some lovely moon pics and no better night to try than on 'super-moon' night.
Nice shot! I found another little trick too that doesn't use Remaster Picture.
From the original picture in the gallery:
Edit - Sun symbol - Sharpness to 50 and Definition to 50.
Try a side by side with this method and yours, see which you like better.
NO WAY THAT'S SICK! HOW DID YOU THINK OF THAT??
Ur amazing thank you!
I tried it side by side with some i took of the moon. Ur method is wayyy better!
Thanks for the tip! I tried this and it is way better. 😀
thanks . i take a few pictures on 6march, full Moon. your method really improve the picture!
edit: it works with outside or inside daytime pictures too!
Had to go outside and try! Came out so good!! Thanks!!
Thank you! I got a great shot of our full moon!
I've always wanted a galaxy note phone & I've wanted one for years,I finally got the Samsung s23 ultra & I'm glad I've held off all these years. Absolute beast of a device 😍 well worth the wait for me.
Its fake btw. they paste pre existing moon picture in your camera. why and how? because the moon only face one side so you will have hard time noticing it. but the proof was that a guy did a experiment on a cut out white paper and the phone added moon on it 😂😅. which was later backed up by youtubers.
and samsung them self explained it isnt any thing "NEW"
@@nanyabiznus4738You are fake
Great tip, thanks so much 🙏
Thanks! That was awesome!
Thank you ❤
Thank you a zillion! Finally nailed it! ❤
Thanks Paul, just got this phone!
Your video came the exact moment i was looking moon picture taking
Thank you, thank you so much! Me and cousin took great pictures of The Blue Moon! I have a s23U and she has s22U
❤❤❤👑
Wow, thanks a lot man
Omg man yhank you
Wow thanks it worked!!!
I just got my S23 ultra today, enojying it alot!
Wow!!!! That's CRAZY!!! Seems like a fancy phone!!! 😎
After you get the bix, how do you lock in? Your icon is different than mine. I have the switch front and back button.
Have to say that was hugely impressive.
Thinking of upgrading my phone just to be able to take pictures of the moon, 😌 mind blowing.
But they are fake pictures of the moon. You could take a photo with a potato, overlay a moon on it, and bingo bango the exact same photo.
Use a tripod it makes a huge difference. Small movements are amplified, especially at 100x zoom with a little lens.
Even my oppo fails to take images of the moon which some clear nights is stunning 🥺 camera shake is a pain but this is Awesome 😎
It really is!
Rumours are this is just a texture overlay added by software. Happy to be wrong, but just saying. Someone will need to take their S23 to the other side of the moon (same distance of course) and check it works on that too.
You think the moons a hologram?
Who cares while clicking this type of picture with their phone? also, You can turn it off if you don't want it. People anyway use tons of filters on their photos. Hell even Astrophotographers tune their images in post processing. If AI does it, then it's no harm. It's not like serious astrophotographers are going to use this phone for moon shots. Also, it does nothing to regular 100x photos, so chill. Also, Ask Apple why they turn all skintones warm? technically, that's a fake image too.
Rumours are true
It's AI doing the trick.
It's not the same picture but it recognise the moon and enhanced your blur picture with reel bits of other pictures in his memory.
I don't mind this trick, but they used this as a selling point, witch is fraudulent.
@@petejung3122 It doesn't make a difference like many other videos say when humans look at the moon it's always one side that we're constantly looking at no matter how far out we go on Earth even if they made a phone that can actually zoom in to the moon and actually take a real picture it will be no different to the Samsung you're getting the exact same picture Unless you go on the other side of the moon then take a picture but until now it will not be no difference
If someone went to the other side of the moon and documented every step of the way, there would still be people who claimed it was fake.
Hola vi tu vídeo muy bueno lo subiste hace poco quería saber en qué lugar está echo este video ? Australia o Inglaterra ? Que localidad porque se ve bien la luna amigo
😍😍 Samsung galaxy s23 ultra!
usually you would need a proper camera to get a photo of the moon but that's impressive specially taken from a smartphone
To think it's something that you can carry in your pocket and the versatility of the camera setup, it's pretty mind-blowing.
@@TheTechGiantCZcams all clever stuff
Can get the exact same result using a potato to take the photo, because the final image you see is a AI edited version which has a moon detail overlay on it. Samsungs moon photos are fake they even tell you its an AI generated image on their site
@@evzevz06 could you show the proof? Because pixel 4 can do shot moon as well, I can give you sample if you want.

Correct. It's fakery.
What do the ratios mean? Thank you
Great picture. But can you put that in a composition?
Just bought the phone yesterday. Gonna have to try it too!
You should check out the "samsung fakes its photos" videos. Its a fake image of the moon overlaid ontop of what your camera sees, Samsung also replaces building windows with symbols like π and [ ]
@@evzevz06 no, pixel 4 can shot moon as well, not just Samsung
Same with it's predecessor m8 amazing camera
Yeah it's a proper bit of it, and the battery life is the best I've ever had on a phone, even better than my iPhone 14 Pro Max.
That's soo much better than the 100x zoom on my S21, even with the current android updates, although I will be trying again after seeing this,
I hope you are all well pal 👍🏻
Yeah 100x on the S21 wasn't all it cracked up to be.
Doing well thank you mate 🙂
And yourself?
@@TheTechGiantCZcams
Not too bad fella, plodding on, very tempted by this but I may wait for the S24, still undecided
@djs I'd go for this mate.
It may looks very much like last year's phone, but it's much improved under the hood. The battery life the best I've ever experienced on a phone.
Took mine off charge at 6am, done a full day at Legoland, and by 2pm the following I still had 15% left.
And that was me using Google maps, music driving all the way there and back (5 hour trip), taking photos all day, and even some time on Tinder lol
nice shoot, i have the S23 ultra but i dont see the "remaster picture" option, how do i active it ?
I struggled to find it too, used to be under the three dots, now I see the option once I click on "i" (information).
Great work big yin, hope you are well.
I'm doing good thabks mate.
And you?
@@TheTechGiantCZcams I'm good mate, keep the videos coming.
you're making me regret getting my Z fold 4... good demo as always mate! Keep up the good work!
I must admit, the S23 Ultra is an amazing phone.
Just get the s22 ultra. It's the same phone as the 23U realistically speaking. I have both and the zoom and pictures of the moon are exact same
@@AkronKid330Nope. You haven't done your research. Screw the moon shots in this scenario, 8K is no longer a gimmick. Screenshot a paused frame in 8K30 video.. phenomenal photo. Stabilization in video? Phenomenal. Night mode? Insane. Pixel binning ? Dude all this is the future.. and I'm no fanboy, but I already cannot wait to see how great the S24U pushes these limits.
@Anderson S do my research. 🤣. The only phone I've ever owned was Samsung so trust and believe I know Samsung like the back of my hand. Realalostically speaking, my comment stands.
@akronohio23 realistically? Does that strictly refer to: an average user who spends 1600 on a phone only to take pictures of their food and pets? I HAVE the s23, it blows 22 out of the water for content creating.

I am definitely getting this beautiful phone asap 🙌🏽
I just got mine yesterday...it's amazing!!
@@johnpd2131 omg lucky what color you get ?
@@johnpd2131 another guy got one and he said that the battery life is crazy, compared to his old s10.
I have the s10e and I usually have to recharge it to full mid day. Battery life sucks on my phone now
The S22 does pretty nice pics but this new feature is great. Thanks for the heads up! 👌
No problem 👍
That's actually an old feature. I have been using it since I got my S22 ultra, but thanks for letting other people know bout
I have that on my s22 ultra, use it on all picks... Much better quality
Same result with my Samsung s20+ ❤
How have u got 4:3 on it
Hi the little box is not showing on my camera :( is there a specific setting for this?
On my phone the box automatically shows up once I select 30x or 100x magnification.
@@REMVPS thank you so much! Was able to figure it out after a few tries 😅 thank you
Yo do a compare video with the s23 ultra and with the iPhone 15 pro max! I subbed just in case!!!! 🤞
Try it on a galaxy z fold 4! I did, and it's the same
I saw a vedio that Use Samsung to take a very unclear picture of the moon and still get clear craters。It is even said that if you take a picture of a light bulb at night, it will automatically create a crater
I have the s23 ultra. but I do not see the 4×4 ratio option, nor does the remaster picture option appear when I tap the three dots.
I found the remaster option... I got the moon shot down. I can't seem to get a clear shot that includes other things like clouds .
I would not recommend doing this with the sun ☀️🙈
I’ll get my worst enemy to try on my behalf 😁
Really??? no one would know if you didn't say it😂😂😂
Why?
@@shenaldilmith3295 unless you want to melt your eyes 🙈
Don't do that you'll badly damage your camera sensors
It was tough but you can do it with your hands, tripod would be ideal.
holy fucking shit, pocket telescope
Wasn’t it discovered that Samsung was replacing these shots with database photos?
No, that's a misconception spread by clickbait tech pages taking info out of context. The shots are not replaced, but enhanced/edited by AI
That's a lie I just have tried it!
Loven it baby I sore pro what is that lmao
Are you using any camera lens protectors out of curiosity?
What's your case
No camera lens protectors.
Amd the case I'm using os the Casekoo Clear lock
@@TheTechGiantCZcams you got an affiliate link or anything to buy one, sorry if I've missed it. I'm using the Spigen hybrid ultra one but don't like how uraises the camera protection is around the lenses and your one looks perfect ✌️
Hmm, can only seem to find these on USA store, is that where you obtained?
Will this work for capturing the northern lights?
It won't since this mode is specifically for the moon. Once the camera detects that the focus is on the moon, AI is used to fill in details and create the "photo" of the moon.
is it the same with a s23 not ultra phone
Why is my zoom blurry at 100X?
I don't see a remaster button on my samsung galaxy s23 ultra
What about Jupiter @!
I dont have remaster picture. Where it is??
Same 😐
So the other day at 630 in the morning I took a pic of the moon far away and took another picture. Funny thing was 2nd pic 2was taken 30 seconds after and it looked like it was dead of night. Idk what Samsung is trying to pull
I've got this exact phone and I don't have the remaster option 🤷
X2 Same situation
I don't have 4:3 I have 3:4 on s23 ultra
Remaster option gives me the worse result TBH😂
There's some controversy..is this really the moon photo or using machine learning to superimpose on a general moon photo and sharpen it??😅
Lol started laughing when I noticed an iPhone recording this, no wander video is lagging
It's not working for me 😢
I just got the S23 ultra and can not get the settings to be able to take a pick of the moon. What settings do you use ?
There are no settings. Literally just open your camera. Zoom all the way in until you can't zoom anymore, which is 100x. And snap the picture
Normal photo settings 4:3, not 50Mp nor 200Mp, not even night mode.
@@ayongkot so what is the highest zoom you can do in RAW mode?
Why i have only 6x zoom on mine ?
This is the samsung s23 ultra
Looks like its just grabbing a stock image of the moon and overlaying it xD its not like the moon changes much
I know that has been done in the past, but this is genuine on this phone.
Lmao, definitely not… I use my S22U offline to take plenty of shots of the moon, also, I even get the same artifacts in the sky I see when I shoot, so that’s definitely a dumb myth…
Looks like you don't have a clue what you talking about. Go do it with your IPhone
Moon shots are Fing Terrible on here. I've been using one for a while, plus Samsung fakes the rest of the moon shot to fill in the gaps and it's never great.
It looked better before being remastered.
Looked better before. The after picture appears to overly brighten the picture and ruined the shadows/contrast.
Yup
Why are my photos not as clear and detailed as yours?
You need to allow it to focus and lock in and take the shot when it is as still as possible, and once done use the remaster function.
Nice 360p photo quality. And people think this is the same as a real camera with lenses.
You can get a mirrorless camera (much bigger sensor) with real zoom lenses shooting raw files for half the price of that phone.
There is no 4:3 ratio on this mode
They say the moon pictures are fake, and it's just the AI drawing it like it would look
Sorta, but iPhones, Samsungs, Pixels, etc. use post-image processing to make things look sharper, more vibrant, brighter, etc. The S23 Ultra isn't necessarily faking the shots, it's enhancing them. If that's considered faking, then almost all phones fake their shots since most enhance them.
@ratrodgrady I'm not talking about the image enhancement, it's a picture printed on the moon, but idk if it's true tho
@@ahmadalmasri264 if you want an unbiased perspective on it, go watch the Marques Brownlee video about it, posted within the past few days
@@ahmadalmasri264 That's what people were claiming Huawei was doing, I guess any decent moon photo is now a picture printed and not enhancements like all phones do to every photo
The moons face moves depending on time of year & location. pictures taken of the moon at exactly the same time but in different locations across the globe are different. Southern hemisphere & northern hemisphere see the moon differently due to their location on the globe even though its the same moon . Wouldn't be possible having one software overlay.

Verizon is giving me 800$ for my note10+ so yeah I’m upgrading to the s23u 🤷♂️
Wow really? They offered me $116, so I kept it as a spare.
@Brad maybe is because the location I live in Florida, btw yes I upgrade to the s23u , if you're on Verizon open the Verizon app that's how you get the offer I think going to the store doesn't give you the coupon
You take photos with s23 and record with iphone :(
Great! Its good if you need that 100x zoom. But I don't need a phone to do that. My brother called that a peeping Tom phone lol. Because of that zoom feature. I'm absolutely happy with my Google pixel 7 pro camera. Takes awesome photos. Cool feature. Enjoy, Paul. 👍

You know the price is higher for a reason compare to you googleeee phone :D
@@crymore.... You really think that price is higher, it automatically makes it a much better phone? Lmfao!! Take iphones for example. Also, I never once said that Samsung S23 ultra is a bad phone. Listen I've had Samsung phones since the S3 to the Note 20 ultra. This "Cheap" Google pixel 7 pro phone won the best phone of 2022. TWICE!! By Marques Brownlee & MrWhosTheBoss. So I thought I'd give this phone a shot. And I'm impressed. The ONLY thing I miss from those Samsung phones, is customization. But I've kinda sorted that out. So yeah! I'm happy with this phone. This phone is more fluid & smooth than my old Note 20 ultra. And it gets better every time I use it. Also, that S23 is kinda pointless for me because I don't need that stylus pen. I hardly used it on that Note 20 ultra. It was just a gimmick for me. Also, that S23 ultra is an awesome phone. Whatever phone you have, enjoy it. But personally, I'm done with Samsung phones. 👍🏼
A tripod is needed.
It's a miracle that my S23 Ultra can make clear shot and zoom the Moon, but because of shutter lag, as soon as I take pic of anything that's moving (kid, pet) - I end up with blurry unusable mess, even in ideal light conditions. Don't get me wrong, pictures of the Moon are cool, but I don't think even hardcore fans will try that more then 10 times. But, shutter lag (and it's been there since my first Samsung, S7 edge) ruins day to day experience. I just can't understand why Samsung ignores it all these years...
PS no, no apps (Camera assistant) or tricks will fix the shutter lag, it's still there and it can't handle even slight movement (situations that my prehistoric Iphone 6 handles well)
I heard that there was a setting that trades something for better capturing of moving objects. I don't have the s23u tho.
@@jakefriesenjake nope, that's camera assistant app that doesn't solve the problem and pictures seem to be worse.
Its not a clear shot of the moon its a detailed image of the moon overlaid ontop of the original image. What you see is an AI generated image, thats why its not blurry, its fake
Can you try take a photo of moving object human etc with hdr off?
@@MrPolemarxosGr trust me, I tried EVERY possible combination (both in native camera software and with Camera assistant) and results are pretty much the same.

I was initially confused by this, too. When the box appears at zoom 30, it turned yellow when (I think) the exposure or maybe focus was set. He didn't click anything. He then went to zoom 100 to finish taking the shot.

AI is adding details to the moon. I guess it’s still better than having no details but still Samsung should be a bit more transparent with how this feature actually works.
