- Every run and catch #oklahomastatefootball running back prospect Ollie Gordon II had against West Virginia in 2023. He finished the game with 29 rushes for 282 yards and 4 TDs. He followed this game up with another 250+ yard game against Cincinnati. He will be eligible for the 2025 #nfldraft and is currently being projected as one of the top rb prospects.

OG2 is easily a first round guy, vision, power, enough burst and ability to make the first guy miss, wouldn't be shocked if he goes top 15 with another season like this.
Really? Good back but I don’t see anywhere even close to that level of athlete. Neither the lateral agility nor the long speed are particularly special, and I definitely don’t think he has the level of creativity to his game that would warrant a top 15 pick.
A top 15 pick at the running back position in this day and age is a special level of athlete, with a special level of creativity to his game and is a true difference maker in the pass game as well. Think Bijan Robinson. There’s a level of twitch and lower body explosiveness that Bijan has that Gordon doesn’t come anywhere close to touching.
I respect the work the you put in my guy, but I don’t see anything close to that level of special here.
@@joeynickles7962 I actually do agree with you completely. I think I had a bit of an emotional response, which sometimes happens when your watching games lol, but I went back and dove through the film and also from watching other running backs, and I feel he's more of a round 2 guy. He's very good, but I do agree the lateral agility and long-speed is just not on that tier.

@@GSLINGFOOTBALL i hear ya. That can happen sometimes where you find yourself getting a little overly excited and then you go back and watch a little more and you end up with a more measured take.
Oh and the guy you need to watch is UTSA transfer Trey Moore who took his talents to Austin this year. 14 sacks last year as a soph and I think 7 1/2 or or 8 as a freshman. Guy is an f’ing fireball off the edge. Awesome change of direction. Incredibly explosive. A little undersized but I think he’s about to make a national name for himself in the SEC this year.
