2:36 Andy saying he's dined with millionaires and homeless people and that they're all people to him warmed my heart right up. if more people could understand this the world would be a better place

I can't express how excited I was when I saw you upload this video! Andy and Amber's family did a great job showing y'all Texan culture. I hope y'all took some time to stop by an H-E-B!
I love HEB I use to live in Del Rio Texas!
haha thats my everyday store here in west texas
Honestly, that is really cool that Texas is held in that regard with their flag and capitol building. Iâve always heard negative stereotypes of Texas, but this video really opened my eyes to the reality that we do have
Is it not an unnecessary rule that a state flag (with exception(s)) has to be lower than the national flag? We don't have that here and was surprised to find out in this video that it's a thing in the USA.
Not to break the allure that is Texas as it absolutely is a wonderful place, but that whole thing about the flag and the capitol is absolute hogwash. While yes Texas does have a flag code that states the Texas flag should fly at the same height as the US flag when both are side by side, the US flag code doesn't have anything against any other state flag flying at the same height if on separate poles either, simply that no other flag should be higher. And there's no rules about capitols either, the Louisiana state capitol is almost 150 feet higher than even the Texas one. And one last bit about Texas has their own constitution... well every state has their own.
@@Mike__B I really appreciate your response! I didnât know other governments can hold a flag higher or equal to!
@@HannahTinsel No state flag can be higher than the US flag according to US flag code, they can be at the same height if they are on separate poles (obviously) but each state can come up with their own code as to whether or not they are at the same height.
I love these videos. I'm really happy that you decided to do these series, to show how different families from different cultural backgrounds live. You always find a way to connect to the people, and ask the right questions. It's really impressive, and a joy to watch!
Thank you so much â€ïž I love learning about different cultures and being able to share that experience with people around the world
I work for a school district in Texas and when the morning announcements come on they play the Pledge of Allegiance and then do the Pledge of the Texas flag. Texans really do love Texas lol
It was very nice to meet you guys at Andy's ranch. I'm the blonde lady with the 5 year old in the blue coat, in your video a bit. Andy truly does represent the very best of Texas! So thank you for capturing that! xo

10:00 I love all the texas puppies †great music too wow
The state song "Texas, Our Texas" is a regular part of school and often played by the high school and college bands. Bought a place near Salado. Still feels very Texan and much of the town comes out for live music; though, Austin is growing too fast and Texas should be better than cookie cutter homes on tiny lots. Many of the multi-generational Texas families often have mixed White and Native American or Hispanic ancestry.
I just hope the episode from South Dakota is where you're adopted in an indigenous family!
I think that's the one he does here in New Mexico.
Utah. 3 episodes
I love this channel itâs what we need â€â€â€

I'm proud to be a Texan but not everyone is the same here. You have to come to the wild West that's what we were called in the 1800s lol El Paso Texas. We are very Tex Mex out here, but there are predominantly Mexican now. I'm mixed as well but I'm a proud Texan! â€
Good lookin' texas man đđđ they are so polite and fun to be with
Texan here , Not native , by choice and circumstance. I and many others love the USA but we are Texians 1st.
PS Im anti Secess. I was born in Yonkers raised 1-12 in Florida then the Lubbock Tx, where i fell in love with the wide openness , from my door i could see thunderstorms over New Mexico hours before they hit us.

Great video! Makes me think that americans arenât as bad as I think and have seen on internet.
Unfortunately, there's some truth to the negative stereotypes of Americans, especially the arrogance and lack of cultural awareness stereotypes often seen online. However, based on my own experience interacting with other Americans online, I would like to believe that the worse of us are the ones acting out on mainstream social media platforms. In my honest opinion, which I do realize is absolutely unprompted, the best way to have better interactions with Americans on the internet is through cultural/language exchange Discord servers because then you're talking to people who want to learn more about other people's cultures, plus there are mods to remove anyone who's being rude.
(also, I'm really sorry about the long unwanted response; I just really wanted to share a different perspective and provide an option for a better online experience)
By logic you can't put an entire population under the same roof.
@@stevensiegert I know. Should I have written âmostâ just for you so you know I donât mean literally everybody.

Love this
you should take him up on that offer of 2 weeks with ya!
I love your videos markianâ€
YOU NEED TO DO A MIXED RACE FAMILYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYđą
Amazing
I don't know why but this episode seemed to fly by super fast. That said one difference I saw was that there was not a huge emphasis on family in this, however that could easily be seen as replaced by community belonging, maybe Texas is so big that families tend to stay more spread apart? Also not a huge emphasis on food in this episode, and I know Texas is known for "meat" in general whether it's barbeque or steaks, and no I didn't forget "Tex-Mex" food.
im from texas whoo love snakes too!
As someone from rural Texas in the middle of nowhere from Elgin tx (middle of Austin and San Antonio in bumfuck nowhere Texas) These guys were being a little too extra lol
you should move in to a east Texas family they are really nice and fun
Plz visit Lebanon đ±đ§ Lebanon is the country of cedars and God's paradise on earth, and it has the oldest city in the world. It is possible to ski and go to the beach at the same time, and it has many places from the Seven Wonders of the World Because of its economic crisis, the prices are almost free, and it is a small country with many monuments and archaeological and religious places. The wonder does not take much time to visit all its places at the cheapest prices. ââȘ0:15âŹâ ââȘ0:15âŹâ
if someone asked me what it meant to be a pennsylvanian my answer would be âtoo broke or too stupid to leaveâ

i just donât understand why they have to hurt the cow in order to show ownership over them, i sure there are other options they just did not explore
Because anyone can take away a tag but a brand cant be removed, for a cow it's like a tattoo for us, thier pain tolerance is much higher then ours
@@kermitpow9725 notice how i didnât mention tagging bc ik that that could simply be removed , but i feel like putting direct heat on anything or anyone is extremely painful even despite having a high pain tolerance.
I can confirm Texans are NOT better than the rest.
love the vids
Now that's the nice Southern accent my ears were manifesting for so long!!!
