I'm still "new" to the field and have been pursuing the Google IT Support Certification. I'm halfway through the course and have been heavily considering what I should do next. I'm thinking either ComptTIA Security+ or AWS Cloud Practitioner to get my foot in the door. I just don't fully know between networking, cybersecurity or cloud computing which way I should go but I have heard cloud computing is really the main wave of the future.
I'm a QA Engineer; so I have worked primarily with automation testing (JavaScript-based frameworks like Cypress and Protractor). I've also done API testing. I actually started a Cloud Practitioner course and then jumped to the Solutions Architect course beause I wanted more in-depth knowledge. Did I jump the gun? LOL I'm in about 30% of the way from completeion on both courses so I guess I'm at a crossroads LOL
@@ThoughtfulTechyCloud not much really....I've heard many of the AWS terms tossed around in my line of work, but I never really got to work with it hands-on...
Hello. I am Security+ certified. I have around 4 months of time for being fully focussed on preparing for AWS. Do you think I can write the SAA without CCP? I have no experience in cloud but I am very interested
Hello! If you have no experience in cloud I recommend AWS Cloud Practitioner first. 6 weeks of prep for Cloud Practitioner. Try a practice exam and see if you're ready to sit the exam. Then you have plenty of time to work on AWS SA Associate.
Thank you for the information, I think I should go for Solutions Architect Associate.
AWSome choice! 🙌
I'm finishing the AZ 900, and then moving on to AWS Cloud Practitioner and Solutions Architect Assoc
AWSome! 🙌

Thank you for this informative video. I am going to take AWS cloud practitioner cert first
Great choice 🙌
I enjoy the Institute. I pray it gets me employed in cloud
I know you will accomplish great things 🙏
Hi.I work in customer service and just completed my Msc Information Systems.Kindly advice which one I can take first
If you have no background in AWS, AWS Cloud Practitioner is a great start.

Any thoughts on AWS Institute? It’s new. I’m starting my second class
I think AWS Cloud Institute is an AWSome program! I wish it was available when I got started. How do you like it so far?
I'm new to tech, however I have a ccna, aws ccp & aws saa. Is this enough to get hired as a cloud engineer?
That's definitely a great background to build on. Have you taken a look at Cloud Engineer job descriptions? This will help you to identify any gaps.
