I'm not sure what my favorite piece or pieces are, they are all so beautiful! I loved the lavender Jade necklace and your diamond bracelet. I am married and I picked out my wedding set. I actually went shopping alone for my wedding set first so I could take my time and fine something I really loved. I originally used my mom's diamond solitaire from her engagement ring that she left me after she passed to save money. After I picked out the wedding set I wanted I then went to the store with my husband. I picked out a 14 karat white gold engaging ring with a row of bead set diamonds with migraine edging down both sides of the band with a matching wedding band. Then the center diamond sits on top in the center with a six prong setting. Last year my husband upgraded my center diamond( I wanted to keep the same wedding ring set). My mom's diamond I originally had set in the ring I had made into a simple pendant. I told my husband he could pick out any wedding band he wanted with or without diamonds and any metal. He chose a 14 karat white gold band with a simple fine, slanted etching, looking like fine ribbing, if that makes sense. I wanted us both to each pick out our rings so that they would be comfortable on and would love forever. I love my wedding set. Anyways, I love jewelry and am picky a little about what jewelry I wear. Again, thanks for sharing and stay well! ; )

Girl that gold bracelet is gorgeous! You should definitely start wearing it. I have a beautiful collection myself which includes a similar size real gold bracelet and I love it dearly. In certain culture's (e.g. Indian) large gold jewelry adorns the women and it beyond stunning 😍

The last 3 necklaces are so beautiful, I can't decide which one is the best. Jackie Kennedy wore pearls like yours. So classy. The yellow and pink diamond ring is gorgeous and I love your 2 pearl rings together. Very unique. The diamond bracelet is magnificent. Maybe you can have it made to fit your wrist by making it an oval bangle. Then the diamonds would stay upright. The gold bracelet I would wear on special holidays. It's too beautiful not to enjoy. Beautiful pieces Carol. I am not a jewelry person myself, but I am starting to find pieces I love. I will be starting a fine jewelry collection. Something I can pass down to my daughter. I adore your engagement ring and wedding band. My hubby and I are planning a Vow Renewal in 2022 on our 20th wedding anniversary. We eloped, so I never had an engagement ring or wedding band. We plan on purchasing the bubble eternityband in 14k gold as my band.❤

I intend on passing my jewelry and handbags down to my children too if I have any. It’ll be so special to have family heirlooms to pass from one generation to another especially since some were originally my mom’s. She never understood the allure of handbags but we share the same love for jewelry.

I guess I technically picked out my husband’s ring too. Although there wasn’t much to it because it’s just a simple band. Did you know exactly what you wanted or did you go with some unexpected choices?
@@CAROLCHANNELINGCHIC i wasn't really sure at that time but i had something in mind to have eternity diamond and bridge the classic round diamond on the top. It was fortunate that the place we went have that style of ring and i only have to choose the diamond to put on that diamond ring. my husband ring was just a classic white gold band. :D

Beautiful pieces you have. I realize that I truly have a minimal collection, but they are all very classic heirloom pieces that can be passed down, I'm not one for gold plated jewelry too so the pieces I purchase or get gifted are solid gold which can take time to acquire!
For my engagement ring which I absolutely adore I was involved in the process all the way until the payment (which I still have no idea what it costs), and I will most likely do the same with my wedding band.
I think if you have the chance to be involved that is a gift and you will forever love your jewels:)

It’s from a local jeweler in NYC. Unfortunately it was purchased 10+ years ago so I can’t even remember where exactly it’s from or if they still make something similar 😞 You could potentially ask a jeweler by you if they could make something similar…let me know if you need a clear photo of the bracelet.
Love seeing your collection, my favorite is the "disco ball" ring (I've actually been looking for something like it!). ☺ Do you like semi-precious or precious gemstones? Except for the jade ring and pearls, it seemed like you mostly wear diamond jewelry.
That ring is actually one of my most complimented rings! Maybe even more than my engagement ring 😅. Pearls and diamonds are definitely my favorite but I’m also looking to add either a sapphire ring or necklace to my collection.

The problem is they are not real pearls and are so expensive for what they are that I can’t bring myself to buying them. Maybe one day I’ll buy only one to stop thinking about them😬
And I completely understand your position on the statement gold bracelet your parents gifted you. It is so gorgeous by the way! I have few traditional 22k gold jewelry pieces that were bought for me as a bride. I don’t wear them much because they are so yellow. I can’t sell them because they are so sentimental. They are actually very beautiful, it is just the color that is so in your face! I need to wear them more because they mean so much to me. I think I’ll have to design my outfits around them, and wear only one piece at a time. Maybe this way they won’t look so striking.
I completely agree! Chanel costume jewelry is so crazy expensive. It can be a few thousand dollars for a pearl necklace 😱 This is why I don’t buy any costume jewelry anymore. And isn’t it interesting how our jewelry is tied to specific memories? I noticed that as I was filming/editing this video. Similar to you I would never sell the bracelet so I need to find a way to make it work with my outfits. It’s easier said than done though 😅

I have the same skin tone and hair color like you. Depending on what you like to wear, but I would wear my 22k pieces with clothing pieces that are champagne, muted light gold, cream, white and beige, or a combination of those. I feel those colors tone down the yellow. Or maybe keep your gold bracelet in mind when you shop, and you might be surprised to find that it goes with certain garments because of the pattern or fabric. Just wanted to give you some ideas 😊 good luck!
Thanks!!! I usually gravitate towards more cool toned colors hence my jewelry is mostly in white gold/platinum. But I have been embracing warm tones more recently because it looks softer so maybe a change in jewelry is necessary 😊
I like all lengths of pearls except for jokers I don't do well with them
I prefer them in a shorter length strangely enough...I’m not a huge fan of longer necklaces in general though.
In my opinion, no one makes the diamonds by the yard necklace like Tiffany and Co.. That justifies the price for me! Beautiful collection!

Both were purchased at local jewelers in NYC. The tennis bracelet has 12 diamonds each around 0.4-0.5 carats. Is there something specific you want to know about the tennis bracelet?

Hi Maris, I bought it from a local jeweler in NYC. I think it was a one of a kind piece and there’s no item name associated with it. You can go to a trustworthy jeweler by you and ask them if they can make you something similar.

Hey Carol, did you have to shorten the chain for the diamond by the yard necklace or is the chain at the original 16 inch? i love where it sits on your neck and want to get one as well!
I had it shortened it to ~14 inches. When I was at the boutique, the sales associate had me place the necklace where I wanted it to sit on my neck and she marked that length for the adjustment. If you're getting it from the boutique, I would suggest you try it on and see what length it looks best at because it might vary based on the size of the diamond.

I’m personally not a watch person so I would choose the bracelets. I also think the bracelets are more versatile in general so the cost per wear is better. You can keep them on all the time and it’ll go with any outfit, casual or dressy. Whereas for a watch there will be times it doesn’t make sense to wear it.

We were also thinking of around 2 carat :) but when I tried that size on recently, it felt HUGE and I was so scared I would bump it around everywhere I go hahaha. I wonder if its something I would get used to though...
Oooh I love both of those styles! The diamond on the 6 prong solitaire tends to sit a little higher up on the ring so maybe that’s why you didn’t feel quite comfortable when you tried it on? And if you have a smaller ring size it’ll also look bigger on. But yeah it’s something you end up getting used to over time. When we first got engaged I would be so worried anytime I knocked the ring against something and I would inspect it right away to make sure no stones fell off. Can’t quite remember when I stopped worrying so much but the ring will end up being like a natural extension of your hand.

I understand your hesitation to wear the bracelet your parents got you. I was the same way. But later those pieces started to look more beautiful to me. Also, your parents will be so happy to see you wear the pieces they selected. My mom is always watching to see if I’m wearing her jewelry.

My fiance asked for my opinion and i just said i liked simple. But he understand that meant a solitaire lol. I don’t like too many diamonds. But he chose the wedding band, which had more diamonds lol. He likes me more flashy.
Edit: About jade. While it does have various shades in natural stones. The rarest ones are the ones with the most complete or fullest color, aka 1 color. While there are many fakes or dyed jades, the most coveted and rarest have single colors of green or white. My grandfather collects them so he has a few 1 color pieces.
Ooh I love the look of a solitaire too. So classic! The diamonds on the wedding band is a nice contrast next to the solitaire. I like that he respected your opinion and also added in his own preference at the same time.
