There's a good reason why we don't wanna go to a mid game to semi late game with a China Tank General. While you're busy fighting the Emperor Overlords, a division of Battlemasters with Autoloaders and Uranium shells can punch a hole in your base and destroy it no time. The best stoppers to this one are Toxin General, China Infantry and Demo GLA. No US Superweapons are not that hard to penetrate early. Just scramble a few red guards with the battlemaster and if you manage it right, its s great tank rush.

This is why I use Infantry or Demolition General to counter Tank General users. Battle Master's upgrade is too OP.
