    I moved to Katy in 2017 I bought in the Tammoran community it’s so beautiful I bought a 5 bedroom home over 3000 square foot beautiful.

    I came to Visit in 2006 and bought a house , Amazing school district for my sons , Both graduated from seven Lakes high school.. love Katy

    Enjoy your videos, only draw back is they seem a little more focused in on mid price and above. I’d also enjoy seeing starting price points, like 250-300k. I know it was mentioned briefly in this video , but would love to see what is all included in those areas.

    If you work in town you will drive into the sun every morning and into the sun every afternoon. It gets old. Did it many years. I prefer the 59 commute to downtown.

    I bought a really nice 3 bdrm brick house in 2019 in the Cimarron part of Katy for 183k. I currently live overseas, could have lived anywhere in the US and this what years of research have put my family and me. We can't wait until the pandemic is over to move there.

    Yes, y'all stay there in that overcrowded tank, I moved out of Houston a long time ago, best thing ever,I don't miss the horrible traffic, and the overpopulation, Katy, cypress, woodlands they are already the same!!

    Katy was on my list then we discovered Spring right next to The Woodlands and our mind was made up. I'm only 3 miles from Springwoods Village and a few miles the other way to The Woodlands. If I care to go to Houston which is rare we're only 30 minutes away.

      @@karenkolczniski4251 Yes, I live in Spring. My kids are grown adults and actually went to school in San Antonio but I heard the schools are excellent if you're in the Klein ISD. I heard Spring ISD isn't as good. As for flooding it depends what part of Spring. I'm in the are closer to the Woodlands. Right between Gosling & the 99. Close to the Target Shopping Center and all along Spring Stuebner we did not flood during Harvey. The streets did get a lot of water but the homes were undamaged.

      Certain areas did flood. I’m in Spring and some areas did flood too. Though in my part of Spring we didn’t flood during Harvey.

      flooding always a possibility. But, i’d say traffic to and from houston and not much fun in katy is a bigger worry.

    Everyone should consider the flooding brought by hurricane in Houston. Choose a residence with high terrain.

      I've moved to the Houston area from San Antonio 4 years ago. Here you do have a heads up when bad weather is approaching so most of the time we know to stay home.

    I lived in katy tx for 4 years. There are no lakes in every direction. Just in masterplanned communities like cinco ranch. Also, the area south of i10 is the nicer area with best schools. The area north of i10 is well... not so Nice. Do your research before relocating.

      yes, and it’s often an hour drive in miserable traffic into Houston where concerts, good restaurants, zoo, museums are found. Not really much to do in Katy except sit in your McMansion and go shopping in strip malls.

      Your comments seems a bit outdated for years now basically every single new neighborhood need to have Lakes, so he is right there's lake trails everywhere.Also the north side with Grand Parkway is the new hot spot to live. As far as doing things in Katy , yes you can sit in your mansion, yes you can go to the mall but a lot of restaurants from Austin and everywhere are moving to Katy. There are bars and a lot to do in Katy.

      Pretty much every city flooded but depends where. I live in Spring. Certain areas in Spring flooded. My home was spared as was my entire neighborhood. Certain areas of Katy, Cypress, & Sugarland flooded too. No city is immune.

      A lot of Cinco ranch flooded. You can go online to pull up a flood map for the area to see where it has flooded in the past.

    Im in Sacramento, CA . no homeless? BEcause all of our parks and green spaces along the highways, rivers and all interconnections to said highways are flooded with homeless.

      @@norvaz94 I went to Downtown Houston last month and it was pretty clean compared to last year, In California they are everywhere, Downtown Los Angeles it's full of tents, even Hollywood has lots of tents, venice beach boardwalk is a tent city, it's out of control over there

      @@danielr3661 I’m in Houston and it may be cleaner than some cities and Covid may attribute to it. Though it’s not only in downtown. I used to work off of Tidwell & 290 and they would camp underneath the highways over there.
