- A LOT of dialogue in the opening phase that won't be heard by most players sadly lol like seriously that's so much dialogue stuffed in there and the end doesn't really have too much

Good work, you can do what you please with the remaining survivors… the federation isn’t watching.
Poor Stardust, trying to keep the Cascadian independence war just and focused, even as his fellow countrymen go insane with bloodlust
He’s Too good for this cruel world full of bloody thirst merc, generals and Crimson 1s
They really need to give us a lot more targets because I am not stalling long enough for all that dialogue lol
use Double time
@@null5909 still not enough ngl, need more ground targets too
Yeah like the fact that the mission start/phase 1 chapter cuts to the next after only scoring 1000-2000pts is actually kinda wild, that is almost 7-8 minutes of dialogue and there is no way it takes most people that long to score 2000 points lmao
22:00 federation attacks dogs
Also love how we’re called K-9 and they put them in.
16:21
A proud Cascadian Marine, reduced to a pitiful wreck begging for mercy from an uncaring god. Warfare encapsulated in a single line.
21:54 "Guard dog ready! Bust out the peanut butter."
This some Call of Duty MP quote I missed?
@strider117aldo9 I was referencing the Guard Dog quote of the Drill Instructor announcer in Call of Duty Ghosts.
That may work on the attack dogs, but I'm not too sure about the hunds...
According to the canon story "The Good Daughter," an origin story about Prez and how she joined Sicario, hunds are apparently mechanical dogs.
bro really almost said the f word too 💀
26:42 music syncs real well with the railgun tracer
I really love all of the mercenaries you can hear in this entire level, something about personalities without offical names reacting the situation and choosing what their next approach, may it be to flee or stay is just everything to me.
Phase 1 has *10 minutes* worth of dialogue? What the heck?! Ok. Anyway, one more thing. Captain Woodward and the CIF did *not* "wave the white flag" as your timestamp said. All they did was ask for a truce and ceasefire to allow their forces to return to Cascadia, which would've allowed them to continue fighting the Federation on a different front. In this case, the Pacific Federation and Crystal Kingdom are clean.
6:05 JTAC (JOINT TERMINAL ATTACK CONTROLLERS)

26:55 that line hits deep
>getting called out by name by a merc
Uh how did they figure out Driver's tacname?
Good question, I’m wondering that myself.

Probably a scrutineer analyzed Driver's airstrike on their HQ and concluded they have Federation Monarch at home.
With Federation knows Monarch, while Cascadian & mercs know Driver.
"When the crown is so shiny, people tend to put a spotlight on it." - Klara Rask
This is very interesting the entire chaos of it all... The breaking down of the Cascadian chain of command and just the entire battlefront falling apart.
It makes sense that many of the Marines are having breakdowns throughout all of this gaining ground then within just a few weeks everything has gone to hell.
It be pure horror just watching your defenses get destroyed the loss of CAS and everything else that is support.
8:25 Forgot to add E-6 Provisional there.
Oh, poor guy isn't being shown anywhere.
10:56
I'm guessing the Antares is a Cascadian aircraft carrier.
Yup, during the landing phase of mission 3 on project wingman, you can see the carrier at the lake south of rowsdower airbase.
@@Bruh-td7exI was going to ask if we don't see it during the last arc of main story, but yeah, it is in mission 3.
7:46 Willie Pete is military slang for White Phosphorus..
Well, add that to the list of war crimes
@@DiogenesTheCynic. Not illegal if only used against military targets but this is Project Wingman, can we really have faith in them?
Not to mention its mixing in with the cordium...

What went wrong? Oh, I don't know, maybe it was the bit where you got overextended and then lost your entire command staff.
I've been thinking about buying this game for a while. How do the controls compare to, say, the Rogue Squadron games? (Closest I've ever played to an Ace Combat game.)
Well enough to do and pretty semi-real enough
@@strider117aldo9 I have no idea how to interpret this. Lemme ask another way. Are the controls much more complicated than the GCN Rogue Squadron games?
Lot less so@@CiaranMaxwell
@@strider117aldo9 I find that odd, as the rogue squadron games have rather simple controls. But that's good to know!
If you're getting it on the PS5, then the controls are already mapped out almost like AC. If you're one PC and plugging in a controller, I think you might have to map somethings around iirc. Been a minute since I played on there. But PS5 everything is ready to go, might have to switch the acceleration and deceleration tho if you want something like AC7 and not the PS2 ACs lol
