    In CA where NEM 3.0 requires homeowners to have a battery, PPA’s are super valuable. Batteries typically only have 10-12 year warranties. PPA’s cover their batteries for 25 years.

      PPA’s are what give the industry a bad look moving homes with a PPA signed is a money hole nightmare

      You clearly have no idea what you are talking about . The utilities aren’t going to credit the value of your excess power like they used to so a battery is essential. Stop trolling you know you’re speaking nonsense

      @@IKidTheSolarMaybe you’re not aware but NEM 3.0 in CA does NOT work like it does in other states. They reduced the credits by 75%. Meaning you would need 4 times as many panels as you did before to get the same amount of credit. That’s why you need the battery. It makes way more sense to store your own energy and get a 1:1 ratio rather than a 1:1/4 ratio

      Is that the only reason why you all do PPAs in CA?

    They usually won’t share about themselves unless you do…well done on mentioning how important it is to be super knowledgeable in your field.

    I don’t understand how this was a successful pitch if the homeowner seemed uncomfortable 90% of the time…
    To me it feels like most people are pressured into solar. Never seen a customer that’s excited about it

    Ugh another victimized homeowner bitten by the PPA snake. He could own the system take the tax credit and have an investment ROI instead of a payment that never ends. PPAs have great commissions though so at least he can say he contributed to the $400k he will make this year

    • @petethemeat
      @petethemeat Před měsícem

      Bro hes already spending the money not everyone wants to take out a loan for solar panels. The homeowner will save money first day and he will eventually pay the panels off the only thing that changes is he pays less per month

    • @xFreeBandBizzle
      @xFreeBandBizzle Před měsícem +5

      Why would you want to own the system ? 10 manufacturer warranty on the batteries instead of 25 year battery replacement… Tax credit is gone as soon as a battery goes out. Not to mention no tied up capital, no loan, no debt.. system gets maintained and monitored the whole 25 years and then at the end of the 25 years can purchase the system($200-400) .. get it removed at no cost or upgrade equipment and get new agreement

    • @michaelferketic3540
      @michaelferketic3540 Před měsícem +1

      @@xFreeBandBizzle all my deals are cash anyway. If you combine all 25 years of payments it comes out to about 3x the net cost of a system. So many other reasons too like not having an easement on your house
