He isn't bad, just sloppy compared to how he usually hits his notes...his transitions are messy
Obviously you can't do what he does on record live, at least I've never seen it. People don't understand that multiple takes and putting separate tracks together is the process of song making. It is impossible to sing a song in one take when you sing like this.
steven newman I wont agree with you many great artists like Bruno Mars, Adele, Lana Del Rey (just a few examples no need to agree) kill it live. Jonny to me didn't take care of his voice in his early career but he still kills it.

steven newman The auto mic has not been around forever think about classic artists from the 70-80 even 90s. when they performed live they killed it. Jonny really didn't take care of his voice he still sings great though.
