This personality challenge is a testament that all the ladies have their own personalities- some are very outgoing and bubbly, some are very confident, some are shy, and some are very classy and elegant. This is Michelle Dee being authentic to what she truly is. She’s not trying to fit to the norm of what others feel is the “personality.” She is relatable in a sense that she is there just speaking like talking to a friend, very sincere and authentic. We cannot force her to be as bubbly as the others if she is not really like that. Just as how we can’t force amazing singers like Moira to belt like Regine or Morissette. Miss Dominican Republic from last year was not bubbly in her speaking but she was able to enter the top 3. Let us just appreciate all the personalities of these girls and not try to invalidate someone just to uplift the other contestants. :) Personally, I still think that Michelle Dee is the best candidate overall for Miss Universe. She can speak; she can walk; and she can walk the talk. Her advocacy is the most unique and it has been her advocacy all throughout her life since she has her brothers that are part of the spectrum. Let’s spread love guys.
Some people are saying that her Autism advocacy is not strong enough to present in the Miss Universe stage. But if she can tackle and talk about Autism on a worldwide perspective, it is a huge problem especially here in the States and I think the whole world. So many families are affected by this problem. And if she can talk about the struggles of the families and the roles played by organizations in each and every countries in the world and advancements made on this problem, I think Autism is a good and huge advocacy to work on.
Michelle doesn't need to change her way of speaking or the way she moves. She don't need to pretend to be someone. Because she's just her. And if you don't like the way she is, just don't bash or degrade this woman who's fighting for something.
Love Michelle Dee! with this personality test, she gave off a chill vibe. She was just being herself. Like the others have said it just sounds as if she’s talking to a friends which is amazing to see. I can definitely relate to her. ❤
