I've been running Gemma 2 27B (Q6) locally and it's incredible. Version is have is 23GB for the model file, and uses that much VRAM. Only gets around ~40 tokens/second on my 3090 which is slightly slower than ChatGPT 3.0 was but it's not too slow either. Way bigger context than GPT 3.5 and its output is better. Gemma 27B does need a lot of manual tuning though.

they took a smaller persons model then parsed it out clearly each one getting sub components of eachother with particular aspects also but not the entire cow not even close it a hybrid system of new and old big and small .They have models that will take years to evaluate before release cause of security risk they personal stated
one small one powerful will crush all these models and they know it
