I do many of these...😅 like living in a cheaper area, no restaurants or takeaways, coffee in a flask every day, saving/investing around 20% every month, i normally get what i need and only occasionally what i want 😂, work on my financial education... And the most important, im working on defining for myself what is "enough" and achieving better work-life balance

That sounds awesome. I also think it’s good to think about what is enough. This will be an interesting thing to explore in another video perhaps.

New Subscribers here! As we are aging we have become much more frugal and loving the move to minimalism. It's become liberating getting rid of all of our possessions as we are planning on moving. The idea of long term storage now is feeling like an anchor in the ocean.

Welcome. Yes storage can feel like that. I want to travel for a lonnnnng time and don’t like the idea of having a lot of things anchoring me to Australia. I will have to think about if I am coming back after a year and having the critical things available or go away for 10 years which means I don’t need to keep things

I’m scared of eBay. I’m worried people will send stuff back? Hmm

I don’t have a return policy for mine so once they receive it that is all that I have to do. But sometimes I’ve made mistakes where I didn’t realise there was a flaw in something and then I give a refund. Facebook Mark marketplace is also good where the people actually come and pick it up.
