I haven't watched the video but this time there's actual reasoning behind it imo like all the stuff they're doing with dimensions and the fact that they hired the aether mod developer and he put a portal in the ancient city I think and the fact that they said they won't add a new dimension until they update the end there's also the fact that a lot of the stuff added in 1.21 is just stuff that makes features easier and faster to add which basically means 1.22 will be a big update also literally everyone is begging them for it sorry for yapping so much but it just feels like there's no way that there won't be an end update

As a casual player, I don't mind things as is. But I almost completely ignore the nether, unless I want redstone devices, and I have never gone to the endmore than twice. And not since the addition of end cities. It's so annoying to get to as a casual player (on bedrock, the most played version,) so having an actual reason to go into the end, would be a great addition. For the loot the ancient city has, it's not worth going. You'd be better off just mining. A casual player never needs enchanted golden apples or music dscs anyway.
As a casual player, I need music discs. I don't play for progress or combat. I play because I want to have fun, build my base and have a cosy place to live in. And music is part of that

- Sculk Dimension:- To activate this portal, you have to kill a warden, obtain its soul and use the "Warden's Soul" to light this dimension's portal. This dimension has a new ore which is the "Sculkcite Ore"(This ore rarity is similar to the emerald ore). Once mining this ore, you can get the "Sculkcite Rock" (Rock which is small in size, its color is smiliar to sculk)
Mobs: Warden Horses, Warden Skeleton, Endermen, Soul Blaze, Drowned, Sculkbuffalo, Sculk Creeper, Sculk Golem, Hairless Warden, Flying Strider, Warden Villagers!!! You can trade warden villagers (trade coin is Sculkcite Rock) for "Sculkcite crystals" and "Sculkcite Upgrade" which both are needed to craft "Sculkcite Equipment" by applying them to the netherite armor using smithing template.. You can also craft the "Warden's Horn" by merging the warden soul with any goat horn and that new horn can oneshot the warden but it needs 90s cooldown This dimension bans lava completely (opposite to nether that bans water) This dimension has many & many biomes and it also has the sculk fortresses (where you can find silence armor trims)!!!
- Dream Dimension:- To enter this dimension, you have to sleep with a "Dream Pillow" !!! And its color must be matching the bed's color.... It is the only dimension which doesn't have a portal to enter or exit from! It is like the heaven where the nether is like the hell.... To craft this dream pillow, you will need to put 8 pieces of wool surrounding a "Glowing Ender Pearl" And this glowing ender pearl can be crafting by putting 8 glowstone dusts surrounding an ender pearl!!!
Mobs: Neutral Overworld mobs(Except villagers and pigs which are replaced by Pigmen[pig villagers]) and neutral enderman You can get "Dream Armor Trims" from this dimensions as well as variable loot..... This dimension is like many and many nearby floating islands ,the distance between each of them is from 12-to-15 blocks... You can exit this dimension by jumping into the void (You can't die in this dimension and the death is considered the exit)..... In this dimension you will see strange unusual things lie a cow mating a sheep having a baby chicken and much like that..... Once you exit this dimension, everything done (building, mining, killing, etc...) will return to normal except for the items looted..
- End Update:- Add many biomes to this dimension, Change the texture of end stones, Bring many other mobs.......... Mobs: Ender Dragon , Enderman, ender golem and baby ender golem(both are neutral except you bother them) , ender skeleton. *Note : all ender mobs can transport like enderman (ender dragon is the only exception) Ender Dragon changes: - Its Color changes from black to purple - Eyeshape and Eyecolor similar to Ender Eye - Health and Damage caused by him are buffed - Health Regen Speed slightly increased - Its wings movement is a bit realistic now - Nether Update:- Added "Gold Golem" which protects the piglins from any danger. 1.27 seems like the probable timeline for the end update and the rest would focus on buggy features and maybe complex Redstone along with new survivalist factors. Because knowing mojang it's hard for them to listen to the publics suggestion considering they're not a modding team.

Only problem is, adding the bundle isn’t an “inventory update”. I have personally played with the bundle and it’s way more a “band-aid” than a solution.
The end is literally the only dimension in minecraft that hasn't changed barely for ages. I think its safe to say that if other dimensions have all been update, the End will be updated as well.
I think your really overblowing how "important" an inventory update would be. it would not make the game "unplayable" if we didnt get it

They've needed a back/backpack slot for at least a decade. Bundles are way overdue and frankly less intuitive than a backpack for early-mid game inventory boost. Idk how adding the Elytra wasn't an "aha" moment for them, just 1 slot and 1 recipe would be a crazy QoL increase for all players lol - it's like they're actively avoiding that idea for some reason..

End dimension it's better to me now, but if mojang need big update they can add scluc dimension. They can add new block, new boss, new structure and new mob in the dimension. Mojang can make silence armor trim and enchanted swift sneek 20% in chest boss of the structure. But the structure found like fortress and in the dimension have more warden spawn like pigman in the nether.
If you say the dimension really hard, i think the dimension only the side quest, you don't go there to killing Ender Dragon, but if you strong, bored, need swift sneek, or need to get silent armor trim for your collection, you can go there.
No combat weapon update can compare to the End Crystal

It’s a biome update. For the end and for the newer biomes with the meerkats, kangaroos and the new oak trees. But also since “the end” is considered the boss fight they would only really be changing the BIOMES of the end and not the full end boss fight so it would still be considered a biome update and not an end update

"Ancient city" means it was a habitat for mobs. The warden as a "warden" is supposed to be protecting something, surely not the broken "city", but must be the broken portal that leads to another dimension where the original inhabitants of the ancient city must have fled to. Just some random theory

They need to add a new type of amour, in 1.20 you could see a white version of a netherite helmet on the item frame on the launcher
They wont add a sculk dimension. It doesnt really make sense seeing as the sculk stuff already has a place in the game. It would just be “deep dark but bigger” and that sounds like an absolutely awful thing to wait a year for. We already have a sculk area, we dont need the same thing but big. Personally I think its gonna be either an end update or an update centered around a certain biome that hasnt been given much love in a while, like the desert or savannah maybe. Adding new mobs, blocks, structures, and a new game mechanic centered around that biome.
All I want personally is a way to automate mining with redstone that doesnt require TNT

Dude I've actually been annoyed up to this point. Why in the absolute hell would the bundle be the best update ?! It's by far the worst. It has 64 item capacity. Not slots, capacity. I can put a stack of cobblestone in a bundle and it will be full already. Put a singular sword in there. Full. Already. At this point, id rather save up on materials, not searching for rabbit hide, which is already a rare resource as it is, for such a pointless feature that will be rarely used. The only way to put more items in technically, up to the max of 64 items, is by putting only 1 of 64 different stackable items into the bundle. And many people, ESPECIALLY with organization problems, will not be ok with this. This is the worst update we could be getting. Unless, they FIX bundles and make them have more storage, before implementing them into the game. We have always wanted better storage options, but I assure you, the bundle in its current state, is NOT that solution. The shulker is by far way better still. And the bundle itself would not even be an inventory update. It doesn't even help with inventory management. What I think should be done, is make bundles have as much storage space as shulkers, while on top of that, maybe making shulkers having more space, being an end game type item to acquire. And maybe making a way to upgrade shulkers or bundles ? Possibly both ? That would be a really nice inventory management update. But my opinion still stands on bundles. They need to be reworked, because in their current state, they're absolutely useless.
Update: Maybe just add 10 inventory slots to the bundle, that would make it not overpowered, but actually useful at the same time, because you can craft multiple. Hell, maybe even five slots. Bit 1 slot ? I can't even begin to explain, why would I want multiple bundles if each bundle carried one stack ? It's a pure waste of time and resources

Bedrock fans really want the combat update (I play bedrock)
I just want to be able to hold more items in my off-hand while playing Bedrock.
For the inventory they just need to make an automatic organize button, similar to Stardew Valley.
Mojang did a big move for hiring the mod maker of the Aether.
I'd be cool if they hired more of the mod makers for Minecraft since it'll give a big advantage to add new and amazing content.

They have already stated that they won't be adding new dimensions before they make the existing ones "complete".
The end update is really necessary because it's one of the most outdated places on the game.
A combat update is pretty unlikely. Even if they decide to add new weapons of some sort, they would be adding them not as the main theme of the update, but rather as a supplement as they have been doing.
For me, bundles are not really a good solution for the game's inventory problem. They should have simply added backpacks or something.
As little as I want to admit it, it's most likely that they update one of the remaining biomes like the desert or the savana.
If an end update comes i hope its done in a way that doesnt destroy speedrunning

i honestly am confused as to why people are like "we need bundles" when shulker boxes already exist and do literally the same thing, but with likely more slots. i guess its nice for the early game, but its genuinely not needed. Shulker Boxes do the exact same thing for the late game

It's to store junk that you pick up so it doesn't clog your inventory. like when going threw a lush cave or a trial chamber

honestly the one thing mincraft really needs is an optimazation update bc java is so laggy to the point that some players cant play the gme without using mods to not get lag, if we cant play that version as its base game self without having to use mods why play at al? and ik theres bedrock but with that so many things are basicaly locked behind pay walls like skins maps and other things even on servers too, the onlky thing i really like about bedrock is how it handles the fps and things like that
