Love the manner in which she approaches the game as well as post game interviews. Coach definitely spoke on the X’s and O’s and play that helped them win the game as well as what Chicago threw at them. Coach also took advantage of Kamilla’s absence. Great game…great win.

What's hilarious, is Reese not only has fan love, but the love of her peers. Vets seek her out after games to show her respect and love, and she does the same.
Everyone is hyped about Clark's triple-double, which is a nice accomplishment for a ROOKIE, but Angel is setting LEAGUE RECORDS- not even close to the same level.
RoTY is Reese's to lose at this point. Especially after Reese surpasses Clark in ppg (which she's on track to do in about 7-10 games)

I think so too. Unless she was using the "free game" to experiment some things. In the first game against Seattle, T.Spoon was genius in breaking Seattle's momentum. Anytime Seattle had any momentum, she called a timeout to immediately snuff it out.
The 2nd game, she let Seattle go on a 10-0 run without stopping the momentum, and she benched Kamilla. What the reasons for this were, we'll probably never know. Hopefully she knows something we don't. Even though the roster of the Sky of very thin, this team is too good to be having a losing record.

Like everyone knows what a double double is but when Caitlin Clark became the first rookie in league history to record a triple double everyone knows this
It isn’t just a double double, it’s consecutive double doubles, meaning back to back 13 times in a row while being double and triple teamed. Not easy to accumulate rebounds / points in that kind of climate.
To not see Caitlin get it I highly doubt any team besides the Fever are going to try to stop Reece from getting a double double. There was a couple of plays they didn’t get on Reece then you have Collier giving her a foul in that seconds to hep get the points for the double double streak (the game the mom was nervous).

Yet, the other day vs the Storm, they "reviewed" a play and then miraculously overturned it to give Angel rebound number 10 that game. Bullshyt. And in yesterday's game, if you look closely, the Storm hardly ever defended or boxed out Angel--for three entire quarters. I watched the full game.
I predicted once the media latched onto this that teams would start gifting Reese double-doubles--and doing it earloy. Kind of like a formality. 2Lets get this over with so then we can play the real game". And we are seeing it. And I also said that Spoon seems willin to sacrifice games and wins to get Angel her stat pads. That Stor mgame I mentioned before, Storm had to foul intentionally near the end. Spoon runs a play for ANGEL, who is a mediocre FT shooter. Now, she did make both--but it was no the right call. Spoon was willing t orisk losing to get Angle those numbers.

Some plays they didn’t even check Reece, Collier gave her the foul in the last seconds of the game to send her to the line to fulfill the double double, Reece told her thank you. Fever are probably the only team that will play defense against her to try to stop her from getting it because these other teams don’t want a certain someone else getting it.
