-When he talks about the "monk" he is making reference on the past incidence when he used to go to a temple and talked to the monks there (he trusted them) but then the monks went and released their private conversations to the korean media.
-When he says "not a fcking dimoplat" he is making reference to all the times netizens call out bts for not talking about political troubles, like he's a rapper, what is he supposed to do.
Basically this song is not only representing his solo preferences, but he is also calling out everyone who talks about them.
Using the Palestine situation as an example for the diplomat line is insensitive and inaccurate considering the song/album was made way before October. I'm pretty sure he was referring to being used as the government's puppet for the Busan Expo (government officials "visiting" their families to "convince" them to perform, HYBE having to bear all the costs) and being granted the diplomatic passports to represent the country. A lot of armys want them to speak up because they’ve shown their support in the past (Banksy art, UNICEF) and you just need to be a decent human being to see who’s on the right side. Personally, I know it's illegal for those who are enlisted to comment on issues like this hence why I'm not pushing them to but it all leads back to the ones who enforced the rules, which is why the word diplomat was used.

This is incorrect. That isn't what he references with the diplomat line because he and BTS have always been outspoken about social injustice and "political troubles". They also idolize artists who do the same. What he is referencing is the south korean government using them as diplomats, to the point that their enlistment affected the entire country's political climate and had entire government organizations debating whether they should exempt them or not, essentially taking this decision out of their hands (but BTS took the decision back after they announced their enlistments directly after the Busan concert instead of waiting on the government's decision).

BTW, they used a real mirror to achieve the double angle shots, it’s not post editing. They said that this video was shot in one afternoon and that they wanted to just follow RM around as he relaxed and just had fun with the song so that it was more authentic and raw, there was nothing choreographed, so RM is literally just doing what comes to his mind. It’s amazing how much presence he has without even trying. The charisma and charm of this man is out of this world.

Ever since the members announced that they were going to take a break and are focusing on their solo work, they've been getting a lot of hate, especially Namjoon. Other kpop fans are always making nasty posts about Namjoon and getting tons of likes, so I love that Namjoon just responds to them with his own music.

I would also like them to watch the Mini Moni vid, but we all watched the video after listening to the album so it doesn't make sense that it wouldn't have the same impact? and the Mini Moni vid doesn't play all the songs and they need to listen to the full album in order to get the story/message from it and hear all the songs, instead of just hearing small snipets. They've said that they'll get to the solo stuff after the BTS album reviews, and it would make more sense to because they need to hear RM's musical journey from his RM album, to mono, to Indigo, and to RPWP. It won't take a year for them to get back to it and they WILL get to it EVENTUALLY, so you'll just have to be patient with them.

Many are recommending MiniMoni, don't watch it without first listening to the album or even listening to Namjoon's complete discography.
Namjoon as a soloist has a very different path since 2015 with his first mixtapes. You don't even know 90% of his feelings as a soloist and MiniMoni is the current result of that entire trajectory.
Namjoon’s songs always have a deep meaning. while sometimes there are phrases or words we don’t really get, it always has a deeper reference to it. His tracks are like his diary, so well thought out and personal. This album is definitely my top fav Namjoon album, then it would be Mono.

I truly hope you react to the album to start to finish once you guys decide to react to it. Including all the songs, even the ones you’ve already done. This album has great transitions and is very well put together as a whole… kinda like a story. I’m only saying this because in the past full album reactions you guys tend to skip the songs you have already heard or watched. But it would be a shame if you did that with this album. It’s a true masterpiece. The other member solo albums as well (: we don’t mind re-hearing a few songs.

Here's an explanation I saw on twitter about bbangsang: "빵상 is a meme of a fortune teller who said in an interview that she could communicate with aliens and one of the words they said was "빵상" (bbangsang), that she interpreted as "hey humans!" Someone interpreted that part of the lyrics to mean maybe it's his way of saying if he doesn't like someone he doesn't expend energy/time/thoughts hating on them, just shrugs them off, "hey human". Another translation interpreted the word as “absurd” or “ridiculous” or “nonsensically funny” based on the meme it originated from.

1) Bbangsan, as you saw, can be an honorific, a budhist concept or simply "gibberish" (about a meme speaking 'alien'). He repeats this word three or four times, maybe giving it all those meanings 😊
2) When he refers to not being a f* monk can be the most usual interpretation of not being a saint or not having the patience of a monk to not be disturbed by all the hate they have been receiving. Or he's making a reference to that monk to whom he opened his heart and who sold to the press the content of their conversation.
3)" You walk like a duck," so you're a duck, it isn't worth it... how many people disappointed them?
4) "Get you *** out the trunk"... ah! This line seems to be perfect for the recent hate they are receiving from the CEO of Ador. How many people have been using BTS to surf on their success???

This is one of my favorites from the album, but the whole album is a masterpiece, there's so much to talk about. I hope one day you will listen to it, mostly because it's so good that I want everyone to listen to it, being a BTS army or not. But don't expect a album of kpop cause it's not, I like kpop but I also like a lot of genres, BTS is beyond that, they do what makes sense at the time and are always pushing boundaries and trying to stay true to themselves and thats why they are my favorite artists. I know it may not be for everyone but it is a actual piece of art, so sometimes I get a little dissapointed that people don't listen to it all and analyse more and seeing some of the comments I'm guessing that's what some are feeling, some because of the censoring (i'm okay with that) or it may seem that they are not enjoying as must has we do, but people have different tastes, but for a fan it's normal to want to watch more and talk about it more, that why I like to watch reactors. Let's accept and respect people taste and ways of doing things, I know they don't have a lot of time sometimes and want to react to albuns in order. But we are all so exited about it and yes it would be great to see people feel the same way and understand things the same way, and maybe one they they will. Some people need to listen and let time pass after wacthing something to give their opinion. I know I do.
