One of the best arcs in the series it really did change the group and the butchering scene is so legendary
That butchering scene changed the whole show for me. BAM! It was like, everything just got real.
I love the terminus arc. People say Negans arc was the darkest but like… rape, abuse, cannibalism, treating people like cattle and like you said the whole slaughter scene. The whole time we thought what was happening to ricks group was dark this disturbing shit was happening to the terminus group. They start as a true safe haven and the world turns them bad, showing them how evil people can truly be. And how can you forget the flashback quote “it’s okay, it’s okay” 🔦 “no 😃 it’s not”
Bob was a great character and the tainted meat scene was one of the best scenes in the whole ark
Rick had some badass lines "they're fuckin with the wrong people" "do you have any idea who your talking too"
"they're fuckin with the wrong people" with the darkness covering his eye like the governor's eyepatch gave me chills
Bro really said "some" 💀
We didn’t wanna waste the bullets…🥶
Carol's banishment, saved their lives.........
Im tainted meat is one of the best fuck you twist lines of the show
fr
I love how Rick's denim jacket in this season almost became a symbol for how brutal Rick had become this season, and how it served as a reminder of such in S8.
And I think of Negan's words when he saw Rick's appearance on the recorded video of Rick's interview with Diana, how he said: "I would not have messed with that guy," and if he had seen what Rick did to Gareth and his minions, I think Negan would've stayed completely clear of him.
Negan would’ve tried recruiting Rick, Negan valued people and liked badass strong people.
Negan after seeing Rick tear a man's throat out with his teeth: "😨 dude what the fuck?"
@@jmsgridiron5628 Nah Negan would probably laugh his ass off while saying how sick and messed up that was 😂
@@scientistmilorad9735 "you hungry there ricky dicky doo dah?"
In my opinion, Gareth and the Terminus arc are very underrated. I was very disturbed when I saw the throat-slitting scene
Fitting profile picture
@@xroobsidian545 Thanks lol
In the scene where they go into the room full of the belongings of other survivors that fell victim to Garth's ways. You can see a table full of stuffed animals and other stuff. The show is implying it isn't just adults that fell victim to Terminus.
In the comics, they were a group of Normal people who couldn't hunt, no skills, and starving.
They ate THEIR OWN CHILDREN FIRST.
As he said, bears will eat their own offspring when starving. After all, you can have more later.
The whole Terminus change to the original story wasn't a good one. Made it more 'evil' rather than super questionably immoral choices in life vs death situations'.
@@aarond1622 Did they have a open gate policy in the comics like the show? If so then that doesn't make sense as I'm pretty sure at least 1 person would have rolled through with those skills.
@@ClassicHarleyQuinn Well they didn't have a base. They were just a nomadic group
@@scientistmilorad9735 So traveling around from place to place like The Whisperers but The Whisperers knew what they were doing and Terminus don't.
Did they still pick people up on their travels?
I've only read the comics up to partially through the prison storyline. I need to get the rest of them.
@ClassicHarleyQuinn the less you know the better
I loved the Hunters/Terminus arc. It only stretched out over a handful of episodes and as a result didn't overstay its welcome. The arc was also necessary for the upcoming Alexandria arc. Without Terminus the survivors would certainly not have been as distrustful of Alexandria as they were
100%. The governor was a bad dude but these guys showed them what humans are really capable of at their worst
I think what was even crazier was the real world set up too, we see the trailers and it leads us to think something completely different and with Garreths actor being promoted to a regular just to be killed off a few episodes later was a great misdirection
Terminus people are irredeemable canninbals.
I love how the Claimers and Termites behaviour led to how nasty Rick treated Aaron when he first met them. DTA from that moment forward.
Dta?

Carol with her explosion:🐐👑
Easily one of my favorite story arcs of all time in Twd universe the atmosphere and vibe of the episodes were unmatched
It’s cool Lee Everett from TWD game grew up in Macon where Terminus is
I have a potential theory that maybe considering it could tie into the people of Terminus and Save-lot bandits. What if the people that took over Terminus and imprisoned the original population *(The ones we see here)* are the remnants of the Save-lot bandits. My theory is after Lee's group escaped, and without a stable source of people scavenging for them.
The Save-lot bandits in due time found Terminus and took over the place. However there might have been a big mistake on Save-lots part as they did not expect the people of Terminus to rebel and took back there home and possibly the next season that guy that was locked up in one of the containers. Could be the leader or simply one of the Save-lot Bandits, its possible that the save-lot bandits are wiped-out by the people of Terminus cause they want revenge against their captors.
Been on a binge of your videos man, making me want to watch TWD all over again
Ikr! I'm back into it because of this channel
I loved these so much. It be awesome to see you recap each “villain” group or camp from the start. Having a comprehensive breakdown helped me understand what was going on a lot better lol
Thanks so much! I plan to cover as many aspects of the series as possible!
So comprehensive, ive never watched the show before but i feel like an expert.
haha thats the goal! highly recommend you give it a shot as there is so much good stuff in there that I left out!
Omigosh, you should watch it! It’s sooo good!
Very good video again! The Terminus arc was imo, peak TWD
Thanks so much! And tbh I agree. You really just can’t between the writing in this arc
Just wanted to say I just found your channel & that I truly appreciate the work you put into these videos
Thanks so much man! glad you enjoy them!
Greetings, To me Terminus, remains the scariest, of All TWD arcs...
Even Carol's daughter coming out the barn, OR everyone's head on stakes, bordering Whisper"s territory.
I still, these years later, can't get Terminus, out of my.mind.😨
8:47 nice little detail here: the shockwave of the explosion knocks down all the walkers.
pretty accurate since walkers are basically just walking infected rotting bodies with not much balance.
Bro your videos and edits are way too dope. I see your channel growing fast. Subbed for sure. 💯
Thanks so much bro! They’re really fun to make
Crazy how you only have 500 subscribers. Love the videos bro. Keep up the good work!
Wow this video is unbelievably well done, it’s so nice to get a well narrated and condensed recap of a series I used to watch so much :)
Thank you so much! :)
Amazing video. I’m so hype your channel showed up in my recommends. Keep up the strong work and I’m gonna enjoy seeing more great videos
Thanks so much man! Happy to have you aboard!
Nice vid dude, concise and well-edited. New sub
"theyre fuc**n with the wrong people"..
Another great video. Abraham was a G.
Man ain’t that the truth
legendary video, I'd love to see one on Woodbury and/or the Governor
Thank you so much mate! I’m absolutely gonna cover the governor I t be future. I’d like to do two sides of the same coin with the prison perspective in one, and Woodbury’s perspective in another!
Agreed pls do the Governor
I llove your recaps. Also loved this arc.
thats when Carol became the GOAT
Of all the groups encountered in TWD, there was the most satisfaction in seeing the Hunters get what was coming to them.
very well made. good stuff man.
Much appreciated man!
Another great video. You have a new subscriber 😊
Terminus is my FAVORITE arc in the entire series. There was something so pure and straight forward about it. It gave a lot of people great character development. Both Carol and Rick were such bad ass mofos in this entire arc. We got meet Father Gabriel, who is such a fantastic character as the show goes on. Also RIP Bob, he went out like a boss with the tainted meat line.
No Sanctuary and Four walls and a roof are some of the best episodes in TWD.
Yes! Super excited for this! I haven't watched yet but I know it's going to be 🔥🔥
I just found your channel and Im very impressed. This is one of my favorite arcs of the series and season five is my favorite season. Excellent content 👏💯
Thank you so much!
These recaps are awesome, ur doing great. Loved the TWD n watched every episode three times. Now I’ll binge watch from season 1 lol. Great videos tho, spot on
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoy them :)
ur vids r soooo good for my walking dead obsession rn
Finally a great channel to follow that breaks down TWD! I went through quite a few terrible ones to find you. This channel is gonna grow :)
Hey thanks so much for watching!
Great video do more of these videos like do one on Something to Fear.
Another banger vid
The claimers part of A is one of the most intense scenes of the show up until that time.
You’re gonna love my next video then lol
First off, been watching a lot of your videos. I tuned out of TWD at the end of the war with the Saviors, so its great someone is summarizing the story in such a way that makes it compelling to try to rewatch the series.
Second, I always thought that Rick seeing how the former tormentor of Terminus was a broken man pleading for death was what he aimed to do with Negan when he spared him. Sure it might have been sticking with the source material and keeping JDM in the series, but I thought that this was a subtle scene that influenced Negan being spared at the end of that season.
That’s a pretty interesting concept actually. Definitely could have contributed to his decision to spare negan.
Please please make more of these!!
Dude the Glenn part killed me 😂
Not sure why I watch TWD videos still... but this one was great! If you keep posting I'll keep watching 😂
Bro I'm really glad this showed up in my recommendation I'm currently on my first watch of TWD and I knew terminus was bad but I didn't exactly understand everything so I appreciate your amazing narration you've got a new sub
Thank so much man! Happy I could clear some things up for you!
I Just got back into twd your videos are dope man
Welcome back bro!
This is a fire video 🔥🔥🔥🔥👍🏽
Thanks so much mate!!
Im enjoying the videos they are well made.
Thanks so much!
Tyreese didnt end up killing that guy as you can see him in the church later on and also when eating bobs tainted meat scene. They made him to gentle in tne show lol. He could have been a beast.
Oh i see you mentioned that.
when rick said "fuckin" i was like "THIS AINT YO GRANDMAS ZOMBIE SHOW"
Your narration along with the 1930’s horror movie theme is badass
Thanks so much man! I love then film grain too. Makes it feel more gritty lol
I liked how they didn’t waste a bullet for them, very economical
this a W video, hope you get onto the the governor storyline, the savior storyline and the commonwealth storyline!
Absolutely mate! Every arc will have its time to shine!
I dig your style of personality hope to see more , all u need is some consistency and you’d be good I’d watch all the walking dead shit u make
Thanks so much man! I’m gonna do my best to try to come out with one a week now that I’ve got a good structure and work flow going
I dont know if you're up to it, but character study videos would be cool. Like a video all about Gabriel's journey would be fun to watch. Carol, Daryl, Rosetta. I guess even eugene. Judith. Even people who've died along the way.
I 100% will be! I’d love to cover every aspect of the show one day, even though that’s a monumental task
Ahh father Gabriel ... From killing bugs sir to zombies
I stopped watching after the end of the first season, it was just too depressing.
Your videos allow me to enjoy the story without being bummed out by it.
Thank you!
Great video it’s crazy I assumed you would’ve had 100k plus subscribers
Good vid
Fantastic summary! One of my favorite arcs in both the comic book and greatly and much more expanded on the TV show. Two things though that I feel that were kind of left out. Is this is the exact moment for the audience where Carol becomes the badass person that we know up until current day in The walking Dead. It's a really symbolic show of her character growth in this that season premiere because she started off as an extremely down weak woman by an abuser and while her abuser was eventually offed, was it directly involved with overcoming her abuser. Seeing her Rambo style take down like the most cartoonish abusers on the planet really completed her character Arc. And the second thing is that I always thought in a brilliant way that the biker looking man who originally was the tyrant of terminus who got overthrown with captured instead of killed and when he was escaped had a complete change of heart even though he was off. Then a couple of seconds later was a preview to the Savior Arc with negan and shows how people can change over time, especially when in prison. It was literally the whole point of that character and after the Savior Arc, I wish they didn't war to set up villains and storylines like that thematically.
another slay 👏🏻
Wonder if the A and B designation is tied to the crm
You’re an awesome narrator! 👌🏻 👍🏻
Thank you so much!
@@Swell-Films no problem dude. Keep at it… for real.
Do woodbury next u can even include little details from the comic
the journey to terminus and after to alexandria was probably my favorite parts of the show. from the episode after the prison was destroyed and all the protagonists were separated and the journeys each one took to find each other was sooo good. just a classic survival story that the show is rooted from. i think its better than the negan and saviors era
Absolutely agree. I would take this arc over the saviour arc any day
Dude you definitely earned a subscription. Please review the strain from fx its a vampire show. And better call Saul.
I’ve never heard of the strain, I’ll definitely check it out! Thanks for the support!
new sub i love your videos
Hey welcome! Thanks for watching mate
@@Swell-Films no problem these are really interesting
You’re damn good at this. Do it all. People eat this shit up. I know I do.
Im confused, I don't remember that girl twerking at 9:28 in the show. May have to rewatch it
aw man your memory must be rusty, Tinas one of the most iconic characters in the show!
@@Swell-Films jajajajajajajajajja its been a while but I think i remember her saving some characters from time to time now
Guys! Your shot counts?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I always wondered why the walking dead didn't have at least the game of Thrones' content level of GRAPHIC CONTENT??????
it didn't make sense to me .
Or make make fear the walking dead that level of content with darker themes.
I mean the comics were pretty dark rated 🤷
Not to the level of snuff flim but come on compared to the comics it was like a kid's show 😅
My alternative storyline for season 4-5. Hear me out:
1) Beth is kidnapped at the end of season 4. Instead of the Hospital people, it's the Terminus scouts who snatch her
2) Rick's group stumble upon the room, while running in Terminus. Beth is in that room
3) Terminus people have been feeding upon her for a couple of days. Beth misses both her legs, and one arm. Barely alive
4) Group is in shock, especially Daryl who feels responsible for losing her. They tell her they're gonna get her out
5) Beth begs with the little breath she has left to save her from the suffering and end her misery. Daryl reluctantly volunteers and kills her off-screen
6) The rest of the story repeats itself until episode 3 of season 5. Terminus kidnap Bob, feed on him, he tells them they're eating tainted meat
7) They throw him out in front of the church, where the group is barricaded and ready for action. Except, they live something of Carol's belongings
8) While Carol attempted to sneak away and leave the group, Terminus got her and now are going to use her to bait the group out of the church
9) They move further into the woods and leave pieces of Carol. The group has no choice, but to pursue
10) Terminus uses the forest advantage to attack the group from here and there. They know they're weaker and have fewer people, so they use the smarts
11) During the 8 episodes arc we get glimpses of their backstory, when they let people in and the people betrayed them, put them in cages. We get their perspective, how they got to the point of cannibalism, tell us more about them. Show how they weren't always like that
12) During the arc Hunters manage to kill one of the group (honestly, I would kill Sasha there), the group manages to outsmart the Terminus, lead them to the trap
13) Carol also dies at the end of the arc, but not before killing Gareth just before he kills Rick or Carl. She succumbs to her injuries, but does so in peace, knowing that she's not lost (or whatever the bullshit reason writers gave her to leave the group in the first place)
Boom! More Terminus, no Hospital arc whatsoever
I still think its crazy that so many actors from The Wire were on The Walking dead .
Episode 8 of season 4 through episode 3 of season 5 are the best story and stretch of episode too far gone the grove no sanctuary are great imo
In the very beginning of this video, I’m pretty sure that was the radio sound from MGS4
At this point of the series, Rick and the other leaders became more careful. Specially Rick. He used to feel bad hurting others. Now it's them or his family.
More walking dead please ❤❤❤❤
Really appreciate these videos! Would love you to do similar for FTWD
Fear videos are definitely in the pipeline! Thanks for watching!
After hearing it for a 2nd time when michonne asks the person in terminus why they let people in, and one of the men say because we want people to become part of us and become stronger
It just hits different when u think what it means lol
One of my favorite stories from WD!😊
Me too Tany, me too.
This episode foreshadows Glenn’s death. Negan killed him with a baseball bat hit to the head.
Explain the saviors
100%! That’s gonna be a behemoth though so it’ll probably be a little more down the road!
If I was in that situation, I’d just start asking if they’re stupid and if they’ve never heard of kuru. Put on a show, make it sound like it’s still an issue, and hopefully make them question cannibalism. At the very least it might give me a chance to flee
i dont know why but out of everything i watched of in the walking dead i still remember the Terminus flashback and the raider's reaction was fuckin scary.
Great video but you forgot that the blonde guy, the first man who was killed in the execution room; Rick knew him when he met him on the road with carol. He was going to lead him back to the prison but lost him.
This was my introduction to this show... The first episode of twd i ever saw...i thought 💭 🤔 holy shit... I been sleeping on this show
What an introduction! Seriously the peak of the show. The writing was firing on all cylinders
Did you realise the the young man who had his throat cut first , is the same young man Carol and Rick meet in the orchard ? He was holed up with his girlfriend as his shoulder was dislocated and her leg was hurt.
I just now realized that daryl broke the tailights of the car... when he could've just tuned them off
You can’t turn off tail lights lmao
👏👏👏
*Rick agreeing to giving up their weapons is so unrealistic*
I still despise Eugene for his lies. When he confessed that he's just a random guy, I cursed him and the actor himself 😂😂😂😂😂
The first time you watched this did you guys recognize Robin Lord Taylor who played the character Sam in episode 4 of season 4? It's a little messed up that the next time you see him he's being the first one killed.
The terminus escape is less than 2 years in, the hinters couldnt have taken iver years ago
I would love to have a mini series about the history of terminus.
That’s what tales of the walking dead should have been
i wonder if glen being the one that was gonna get hit by the bat first was foreshadowing
100%. At the very least a reference to the comics at the time
a smarter plan for the people at terminus would of been to have all the prisoners naked so they could see if they were bitten and so they would have nothing to escape with
Terminus was best story arc, reminded me psychopaths from dead rising but sadly it was short
It was short, but I think it works to the shows benefit.
They have a habit of dragging things out so it was refreshing to have a tightly packed, fast paced story
