Upcoming Armour and Staff for Mages | Valheim

- In this video, I show you the concept designs for the Ashlands-tier mage armour and staff/weapon. This set is likely to be the best armour and weapon for mages in the game, after the update. The developers showed us three variants: a dark-coloured armour set with a glowing cape, a light-coloured armour set without a glowing cape, and a light-coloured armour set showing a lot of skin. Inadvertently, we also got a first-look at what I expect to be the Ashlands-tier staff/weapon which looks like some combination of dead branches and lightning.

Oh I love the dark version. Light version looks awesome too.
Agreed - the dark version with the glowing hood looks great.
I love the thotie wizard viking version but I voted for the first one because it looks more badass.
It all depends on what kind of mood you wake up in I guess, haha!
I hope the dead raiser gets a few new levels. I want to get a necromancer build with the ability to raise slane foes.
I really like that idea. You could slay a seeker and bring it back to life as an ally!
im hoping for another lighting weapon/staff of any other lightning based stuff like arrows or sum
This would be very cool. I am unsure about specifically lightning weapons. However, from the development blogs, it looks like there will be weapons with elemental effects added.
@@phinqs i heard that lightning is one of the elements u cant lace the weapons with which is great cuz himmn afl is my fav weapon

this game is hard as hell that part when they hit you into the water your stamina is usually depleted so you drown tryna get out lol so frustrating
Yes! It can be really frustrating at times but I think that is part of the game's charm!

I really think They should work on a big paid expansion to support them, i would buy instantly! Im loving The game
They are currently working on the next major update. It will populate the Ashlands biome, similar to the Mistlands. Although, these updates will be free.

There are "DLC ITEM" odin cape and hood and tankard accessible in the consolecommands.
Not useable tho cuz it says "DLC required"
Could be cool idk if theyre scrapped like the knight shield too.

If there is not gonna be a lightning staff it will damage my astral form
I will reach out to Iron Gate and have it added to ensure that does not happen! I think we all have the necessity to feel like Odin by the end of the game anyway!
There is a lightning staff already in the game. It is called: The Himminafl.

@@ScrumHunger Understandably so, but my point was that it has a lightning attack which the other player was looking for.
@@robertcarpenter5681 The Himminafl is a polearm but it definitely gives off lightning damage. Therefore, I do not think it is too ambitious to hope for a lightning staff in the future!
Are we going to have a Kratos Style Throwing daggers that you can pull yourself to the enemy to kick/slash them or a thor style Throwing lightning spear that comes back to the owner?
I hope so - both of these ideas sound incredibly cool. I think that a lot of the actions that we see from Kratos would actually fit the gameplay of Valheim too (within reason).

So they are still working on the game?
Yes! There are at least two major updates still to come (Mistlands-sized updates) and they are releasing minor updates fairly regularly.

I liked the lightest one. Video game designers are so afraid to show skin on males for some reason. I mean the Ashlands are probably really hot. I would wear shorts and a tank top
