I think Ford is making too many "special" Mustangs, hence, marketplace forgets all of them

I have a 2018 GT Premium, PP1, Magna ride, active vale exhaust, 6 speed. 65,000 + miles. Love the car. Consider it to be a near perfect two person road trip car. Would consider a Dark Horse, but not for an everyday driver. I agree that $15,000 + for a street car, everyday driver is not a rational choice. I’m very likely to move on to another GT Premium in the next year or two, although it will be difficult to give up my 2018. Happy motoring 🤠

The dark horse also come with forged internals from the gt500 and a bunch of different coolers. That’s what it’s worth the more money

Bingo! Going boost with a stock motor would be more reliable. There’s people pushing 1000hp on the gt500 daily driving no issue at all.

I did a ride along at Charlotte Motor Speedway, and the Dark Horse was impressive! If you are not going to auto cross, or track it, the Dark Horse may not be for you.

Is the DH better than the GT? Well simple answers based on your intended usage:
If you're just trying to get to work with the occasional highway/stoplight race, then no.
If you want to take that sharp corner at 90mph that's on the way to work and/or put crazy boost in the car and not have to worry about the bottom-end falling out a few years later, then yes.

That does not look as good as the mustang GT. I don’t like all that black plastic in the front unless it’s like a super dark color like that dark matter or black, but on that red it looks bad, in my opinion.😉
