The hijab remains the official law in Iran. But these days, all around the country, many women are going about their business hair uncovered. It's a vivid reminder of the public uproar and anti-government protests that erupted after Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old Kurdish woman, was killed in police custody in September.
Until recently women were not alowed to go out without the gead covered. What happened that this not being enforced anymore? It's wonderful to see women being more feminine, more beautiful! These old dress codes are so primitive!
Those were only some parts of Iran and it was years ago. Since the younger generation is growing there's less and less hijab forcing and Iran getting westernized. Sadly if you are surrounded by radical Muslims they won't let you walk around freely like my family there all wearing burqa
I noticed that too. I left Iran in 1999 and back then hijab was strictly enforced, but seems like it is not the case anymore. So happy for Iranian girls and ladies. Hoping for the day that Iran is free of theocracy.
It still isn't free but culture and families have changed. So in the places (mostly malls) that there aren't any hijab cops, women take off their hijab.
In the past year two young women were beaten to death by police/morality squad for not wearing headscarf. There's been riots and protests and women simply refusing to wear it. Can't arrest everyone.

If people don't buy, prices will be cheap. People buy. Because their purchasing power is continuously charged by the production of cash and the printing of banknotes. What nobody talks about in the comments section is that being LGBT+ is still a crime in Iran and they have to hide who they are in order to not be persecuted and killed. It seems most Persians don't care if you are killed for being LGBT+..and that is a sad reflection of their culture and upbringing, even though one of their greatest poets, Rumi, was gay.
