As someone who wears costume makeup, I can assure you that at the very, very least, Mehron setting spray is real. It will set your face so good you won't have to worry about anti-aging products.

It's so interesting that Trixie's look always remind me a bit of kabuki theaters, geishas and Chinese opera. The same feeling of creating a whole new character on your face and exaggerating/highlighting certain features. No, not only her, but all drag queens, it's just with Trixie I reeeeeally feel it.
He mentioned in the past that kabuki was part of his inspiration! I love how Trixie's makeup is so unhinged, but somehow also reads as a cohesive face that makes sense when it's all in context.

Wash your face with cold water first to close pores
it helps to do a double cleanse when taking off your makeup. That is usually what I do. Start with an oil cleanse to help remove makeup, then any water based cleanser to make sure everything is off. Finish with toner and the rest of your beauty routine. I also sometime do this when I notice my face getting really oily.
Unfortunately, acne is not about clean skin. If it was, then we would be saying that people who have acne are not clean, and that just isn't true... #peoplewithacnearebeautifultoo
