CICS TS MQ Interface

You have become a seasoned CICS application technical support person or system administrator but you have been avoiding looking at the CICS / MQ interface and its options. Then this webinar is just the thing for you. After a very quick overview of the interface, we will dive into the CICS resources and their options with an eye toward performance. We will also take a look at the MQ command interface within the CICS region along with their use in problem solving or performance tuning. If that is not enough, we will walk through CICS trace data and MQ application trace data with an associated application to profile its use of MQ. All in all we hope to provide you with the knowledge and confidence to begin working with the interface. However, we cannot cover all aspects of problem solving or performance tuning but we can give you a good start in one short hour.

Thanx - I was curious about the STATIC vs DYNANMIC CALLs - and it made sense that (WS being initiated for each Transaction Instance) that you should manage the CICS configuration based on MQ Msg Sizes...
