he's so professional and i'm so happy he's doing well. i've kept my eye on him for the past few years and his charisma really comes through. he asks really poignant questions. much respect. much needed in the indu$try

Mr. McCarthy, you are easily one the best at what you do! "One of the best" is a real compliment in this case because there are just too many bad examples out there... Before I discovered your videos, I literally scoured through youtube trying to find insightful questions and interviews to gain better insight on the actors and their unique film-making mechanisms. I have to say that around 90% of the times interviews are either too playful, far too serious, or just so cringe-worthy it induces actual physical pain. But you, good sir, are so good I actually feel like being an interviewer myself! So trust me, tune out your critics because you are really, really good at your job. That being said, I have a ticket reserved for Suicide Squad the day it comes out so I'm pretty pumped! But yeah dude, great video! Cheers.

The Joker never really leaves an actor that plays him. Leto even said himself he thinks the Joker's "still in there somewhere", which to me is a good sign that he really became the Joker like Heath did. I'm expecting pure awesomeness from this movie it has so much hype at this point anything else will be a disappointment.
Jared has also said Rayon is in there somewhere. I think she was in him before he even played the role.

Jared is a method actor, he wanted to be able to think, feel, and have chemistry with others like the joker would have
Uh, sending someone a dead pig isn't "good fun", it's disgusting. And as for being a method actor, Heath Ledger was method acting while playing the Joker and everyone made it very clear that as soon as the camera stopped rolling he went back to acting like himself. "Method acting" is Leto's excuse to act like a creep and an asshole.
Just because she was fine with getting a live rat doesn't mean he isn't an asshole for the other stuff he sent people or that that means it's okay he did it.
Maia Patten If he didn't do the things he did, he wouldn't have been able to play the part as well as he did. Heath Ledger is a method actor but they don't have same methods

This guy is probably one of the best interviewers I've seen in a while. Super excited, engaging, and awesome questions.
I love how this guy conducts his interviews, he asks important but unique questions, not those stale questions the media usually focuses on. You can tell he really has a love for film. I want more interviews from him!

I know nobody asked this, but I think it's funny that Kevin McCarthy carries an ticket of Requiem for a Dream in his wallet. Every time I look at Jared Leto, I remember him as Harry. His acting was amazing back then and still is (or even better), that's why I wasn't so surprised when he got the part of the Joker. So nice to remember!
Also, Kevin did the most interesting questions for Jared. I feel like Jared aways get questioned all the time about the same stuff. The process of writing songs in character is really interesting, I never imagined it. :)

Such great interviews. I loved the one with Jared. Those questions about whether he wrote music while in character and which 30STM songs described the squad were genius. It's so nice to see a interview where the questions aren't all the same. I'm sure Jared appreciated it because I noticed when he was doing promo for DBC. He got a little weary of being asked the same questions over and over again.

This was a fan based/deep cut interview and It's just amazing. You had some great insightful questions and also knew how to balance humor so perfectly. This interview was perfection. David Ayer is an actor's direct because he wants to unleash the darkness inside you and that's what this movie is all about. Also at the same it's a character driven story,
