- Today I'm going to prevent y'all from getting banned and possibly fined and explaining what happen to FREE Nitros. (Authentication required)

NOTE: To remove the billing info from the Discord Settings, you must unsubscribe from Nitro first *(this won't remove your free 3 month Nitro)* and then remove billing info like in the video. Also, some of you guys might have a Transaction History. Unfortunately, that can't be erased as of right now. The best way to deal with it is to *disable the account for a while* or *permanently delete your discord account.*

All we can do is, accept our mistakes that we all fell into this greed. The Virtual Credit Card *MIGHT* be cracked indicating an ownership of someone. Discord was great to add a Payment method in order to prevent people from making alts and spam buying the nitro. Also, removing Payment Method doesn't guarantees safety of your account 100% because somehow Apps like Discord stores all the information of what credit card are we using, the damage is already done. My suggestion for Server Owners who used the credit card, is to make an Alt account, transfer ownership to your alts before getting banned. Thank You.

discord and epics the one to blame for, honestly if your paying for free why do you have to have a credit card to redeem it? Then there's gonna be disabled accounts/ delete accounts everywhere and also everybody is gonna get charged in september who have not cancelled.
@@g0thhic I agree, Discord is at fault. I don't know why you need a credit card to redeem free nitro, it's the same as accepting a gift from someone, you would still need a credit card to redeem it. Honestly, they should make it so that you only need to use a credit card when PURCHASING a nitro, not redeeming a code or a gift lmao.

no, they cant shutdown epic games, epic games is a bigger company than discord they cant just shut it down. And there is a high chance we get to keep the nitro.

Because more people would see that nitro is worth it and they will buy more nitro so discord can make more money
So people can't mass scrape accounts easy everyone has a credit card these days so just either apply for one or open a bank account and get a debit

theyre free but you gotta cancel the card otherwise youll get banned. when you cancel the card you'll get ur nitro but lose ur boosts. hope this helps!

if you claimed it from a gift, there will be no credit card/billing from your account 👍👍 If you bought it for yourself (not a giveaway) then you'd need to link a payment method to your account. Also, since you have had it before, you can't get this free epic nitro.

Before the subscription ends, DELETE ALL OF THE ALTS. It seems that discord might ban all accounts on the same IP if they use the same payment method.

@@PenguieYT Yeah bro you get exactly 3 months of free nitro and nothing else. If you didn't cancel, you would be automatically charged $9.99 a month for nitro as it automatically renews. I cancelled my subscription as soon as I could.
