I was going to buy a GE Profile but was told I needed to prerinse the dishes before loading them into the dishwasher plus I had to buy a WIFI module to use it with a phone app. I bought the LG Pro model shown in this review and totally love all the features, no prewashing, built-in wifi module, steam option, hot air drying, lower quad spray arm, adjustable tines, led lighting and incredibly quiet too. Couldn't believe how sparkling clean the dishes came out! So glad I did some research before spending $1k on a dishwasher. Even the Bosch didnt touch the model I have for it's options. Thanks for the great review!

I guess you’re lucky because I have purchased three LG dishwashers and I gave you my word I am not lying each and every one last about a year to a half a year and no one absolutely no one wants to touch it not even LG wants to fix it they want me to pay for everything and it’s still under warranty I have my receipt and everything else but this is junk you will have trouble with it trust me. Jesus Christ of Nazareth bless all my brothers and sisters out there.✝️✝️✝️🙏🏻🇺🇸

Thank you for your review. It is very helpful..I just purchased a LG dishwasher..was disappointed with drying function..also I was not prepared enough for this purchase so I did not buy the steam function one…due to the huge dent inside the machine ( which I have not noticed at the time of the installation..presumed it is prefect) I was forced to replace it. Besides I had a horrible experience with the LG customer service… I need to buy another machine. This time I will choose smarter after watching your video. Thx👌

Seems people either love or hate their LG dishwashers, looking at the comments. I for one love mine, which looks to be the same one you showed as the 'cheaper' option. Its cleaning is absolutely fantastic, even on the top most rack where chocolate ladles to pizza cutters get cleaned every time, using the Auto w/ Steam and Night Dry settings.. I do use the Cascade Complete Pods instead of the Gel though, as I have found the Gels to not do as well for some reason. In any washer, not just LG. I do agree that plastics don't dry well, but that is a fault in a lot of washers due to the 'energy savings' now required to be built in. As you did, I found that simply leaving the door cracked for a while in the morning before unloading solves that problem though. Otherwise everything else comes out dry and spot free w/o the use of a Rinse Aid.

My dishes are always dry and only ones that are holding water like a cover or something like that has water in it I use the high temp wash with the steam and night dry

I bought a similar one that does not have the ‘Express Wash’ option which retails for $100 less than this one. I was quite underwhelmed with its performance & drying experience is terrible. The top most rack does not get cleaned well and never dries.

I thought LG dishwashers didn't have a heat dry. Try using a rinse aid. I use either Finish or Cascade Power Dry.

Surprised some of those dishes didn’t come out dry.

Do you find that the middle rack is not level. Seems half inch lower on the left side

Hmmm. Mine is level. Couple of thoughts....1st the rack can be moved up and down (grey buttons). Maybe one side is up higher?? 2nd check the overall dishwasher level with a torpedo. Use the adjustable feet to correct. Hope this helps.

Does the bottom tray keep sliding back in on yours, or is something off on mine? It slides in very easily, even when I am trying to load the dishes. Thanks

I've noticed that some of the soundproofing can interfere with the door coming all the way to flat. Then the bottom rack wants to slide back in since it's down hill. I had to rearrange the insulation behind the kick plate to help....but you still have to use a bit of force to make sure it's fully open before pulling out the rack to load. Hope this helps.

I hope to get a new dishwasher that auto opens when it's finished.

Every brand has some law suits so don't buy a dishwasher a dishwasher is not like other appliances in your kitchen it's the hardest working thing in the kitchen and you are lucky If you use it every day and it lasts 10 or more years

After watching videos trying to figure out how to work this thing without enrolling in a rocket science college course, I have found mostly BAD reviews and most people are really struggling to figure these super complicated controls out. I would definitely recommend NOT buying one of these. As Elon Musk would say, "THIS IS A DUMB DESIGN." WAY, WAY, WAY OVER COMPLICATED FOR A DISHWASHER. I AM FEELING RIPPED OFF. 1/2" thick manual! WOW. I just bought it today and they want $5.00 to answer my question of how to turn drying off. Ran a load of lightly soiled dishes on normal. Not very impressed had several that didn't get clean. Yes its level. Yes I preheated water by running faucet. Yes I used the recommended detergent. Yes I checked sprayers spin freely like I always do. I may return this to Lowes. I sure wish it would work with a windows PC. NO I don't want an emulator on my PC.

People do not buy LG dishwashers they have a class action lawsuit and I give you my word I promise you I have purchased three of these because I love the features in every single one breaks down with the same problem over and over and this one the latest one that I have is only about seven months old and nobody wants to touch it not LG or the store that sold it to me in the one before this one that I have right now only lasted a year and one month and the one before that one lasted at least at least a year and a half so within the last four years I have had three LG dishwasher. So let me tell you I don’t care about features no more I want something that works but LG is not the one to buy or Samsung Samsung has the same issues. Jesus Christ of Nazareth please help people understand not to purchase this junk because they’re gonna get upset for losing all that money.✝️✝️✝️🙏🏻🇺🇸

Funny I've had my LG top of the line The Last 5 Years not a day's problem I love it and will be getting another one soon. Where I live LG comes out and services that, where you live they might not
