I fucking love how the shinobi uses stealth and martial arts and the samurai consistently fights head on. It’s just like it should be. Very excited for this one. I just hope it’s longer than Mirage because that was the shortest AC game I’ve played. I hope it’s like Odyssey where I can put 40+ hours into it without getting bored

That's because Mirage was supposed to lean more into the old linear and story-driven style of the older AC games, whereas this one will be closer to the RPG-style games

It's kinda ass to be honest. Imagine already explaining 30% of the game plot in a trailer 😂 most games would keep some stuff unknown. Like the ninja and samurai working together type thing. It should've been a hype thing for players they'll experience in-game.
Supposedly yaskue was a African prince who was taken as a slave to Japan and was eventually freed and served under nobunaga but there's almost no historical records about him other than his service to nobunaga he eventually dissappears after the honoji incident and was never heard from again
Yeah it’s a myth that he was a samurai. He was not. He was a retainer for nobunaga. He didn’t fight in any documented battles. Still a cool story nonetheless I suppose

@@mrpie9727 Like I said even with the guy, you can tell even by his armor (nobody is sneaking with that shit on) it could be a 50/50 between the two. Missions may require stealth or one may require a lot of fighting. If they are smart they will make it to where you can do whatever you want.

Brad really excited about you playing this game. I just really hope they don’t mess this one. Not gonna lie the AC games do not feel like how they used to. The old AC games where you really had to be stealthy, relying mostly on your hidden blades and using the environment to your advantage. Just hoping the gameplay is good and story is as brilliant as well

I don't think so. This main black character was historically in Japan. That's why they made a game based on his story. Very loosely but I don't think that they would add like a ton of black people and I don't know how it would change the game if they did

To everyone, please be reminded that Yasuke was never an actual Samurai. He never had Land, Servants, House, nor was given such a title by Nobunaga as that is a title only given to those born in Japan. He was a sword bearer at most and all records of him that exists mostly depicts him as being shown off by Nobunaga to his Lords. It was around the line of "Look at this cool thing I bought from the Christian Monks! Yes his skin is actually as Black as coal!" These records was at most, one paragraph mentioning a black guy in Nobunaga's troupe carrying his stuff.
That's actually what we know of him. After Nobunaga's defeat and one of the only battles he has actually participated in.(Though this is still unconfirmed) No records of him ever existed afterwards and he just poofed out of Japan and its history. He is also not a Samurai nor considered as one except in the West.
