I think Regency, Victorian, and Shabby Chic are so beautiful! But my home is more the rustic, woodland, Country type. I have been really tempted to do my bedroom in one of these styles because I do think they are romantic and beautiful. Thank you for such beautiful inspirations!

Absolutely loved watching this Brandy, thank you for another incredible video. I'm not a gold loving gal but you have a way of making it all look amazing. My favourite is the bow wall hanging piece. Which is surprising for me as I'm not one to use bows in my crafts but it reminded me of the bows we would have in our hair as children for school.xx

Hi Brandy, a couple of things lol. I am a subscriber and I watch all your videos. I also am a subscriber to LOTS of crafter channels and, therefore watch tons of crafting videos. I ALWAYS read the comment section. It makes me so angry when I hear you or other content creators apologize for the way you naturally talk!!! I love the Parisian Chic/Parisian Apartment/French Provencal/Light & Dark Academia styles. Really, they're so similiar, despite having differing color and distress levels, sometimes. They are my absolute fav styles overall, and have always been. I used to call it the castle look when I was a kid. I am less into the super farmhouse aspects, more into the baroque, scrollwork and detailed elements paired with the simple neutrals and vintage pieces, with some pops of color, like metallic golds and coppers, sage greens, some burgandy, etc. So, these craft items from this video fit right in with my top decor style. It's also one of the hardest decor style to craft. As it's not easy to emulate the intricately detailed ornate bits without having access to molds, expensive pieces, or tasteful dupes. It's not easy to find cheap replicas of that style at the Dollar Tree, lol I wish! I live in a country town of 500. So, not a lot of those pieces, or ones that I can make work are at the thrift store here.. I have found some, though. I find some at the bigger towns about 30 miles away too, but not often. So, I need to purchase a few molds. Stencils' and sometimes stamps are very affordable, and they work on some things too, of course, thankfully. I bought a beautiful scrollwork stencil at Hobby Lobby recently, and a big floral scrollwork (I think... I've not seen it in a hot minute!) one at our community thrift store. I haven't gotten the chance to use them yet, but soon I will! Because the ornate decor pieces aren't as easy to emulate cheaply, you don't see many videos about them on diy decor/craft channels. Unless, they use molds, or they lean more toward a French Country/Farmhouse, which I do like. But, in moderation. So, I really appreciate videos like some of the ones you've done recently, even more than the others, which I love them too! But, I appreciate the rarer seen diy styles appearing in your videos so much!!! I adore vintage, distressed, ornate things a ton!! I swear I should have been born in a different time😅! I remember watching, "Interview With A Vampire" and loving the decor and architecture as much as the characters and story!! The books were so rich in imagery and descriptive details, that I could see the images. The movies did well executing those sets and details so perfectly!! I pray I get to go to New Orleans and Europe one day! Im only 7-8 hours from New Orleans, but I've never been. I almost did once, but the plans fell through, sadly. These videos help me make my world more beautiful, and I get to tap into my creative side! Thanks again!

I was wondering if you might try your hand at vintage nursery rhyme decor for a baby or children’s room. Temu has some really neat vintage children’s items. I have loved Regency decor for years, but my adoration stems from a love of the books by Jane Austen. I enjoyed the items you crafted very much!

Hi Cheryl, those are from Temu. But you can get sets on Amazon as well.
I would have painted it the opposite way. I would have spray painted it gold then brushed black on it then wipe off the black. This will reveal the gold and the black will be left in crevices and deeper areas, just as if it's naturally aged. Just my technique.
I do that the same way. Or maybe simply dry brush the gold a little. Either way, when it comes to crafting, we make it our own. That's how it's done.
