If you're vegan and you want your pets to have a vegan diet, please adopt a herbivorous animal and not a carnivorous animal, please
I know, it sometimes hurts me physically. Dogs and other pets are carnivorous, or omnivorous, and in most cases will definitely need meat to grow up and live without any medical issues.
If you want a pet to be vegan with, pick a herbivore rather than causing more damage.
I have nothing against anyone different to me, and find many of the terrible racist, homophobic, biphobic, sexist etc. Acts in this world awful (to say the least). This also goes for the hate that vegetarians and vegans get, but people need to be more considerate and research properly into the science (physical and emotional/ psychological effects) that affects people, and definitely animals.

dogs can live on a vegan diet, as long as they're given the correct nutrients and monitored. They're not obligate carnivores and do not need meat to survive

But I’m not going to demand they change their entire diet. If anything, that’ll just turn them off. They may decide to do that on your own. Who knows?
